Item type:Publication, Thai music emotion recognition based on western music(2019-05-29) ;Sangnark, S. ;Lertwatechakul, M.Benjangkaprasert, C.Music emotion recognition is the music emotion detected from people's annotations. In this paper, the Thai music was the evaluated set of a system based on western music training settings. By using valence-arousal values, multiple linear regression, k-nearest neighbours to represent the emotional annotations from the music. We used valence and energy(arousal) from Spotify API to the investigated emotion of Thai music. As a result, the Thai music emotion according to the western music criteria could be understood. The highest f-measure of Thai music from multiple linear regression All feature was 41% and the f-measure of western music from multiple linear regression without tempo feature was 51 %, which are very different because All feature in western music is low efficiency than other models. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Multi-reconfigurable band-notched coplanar waveguide-fed slot antenna(2018-01-01) ;Lertwatechakul, M.Benjangkaprasert, C.This paper proposes an antenna design concept to achieve a multi-reconfigurable band-notch antenna by using a set of microswitches. The proposed idea was proved by the design of the coplanar waveguide (CPW)-fed slot antenna. The sample design gives a wideband antenna the impedance bandwidth of which covers the frequency ranged from 1.9 GHz to 6.55 GHz. The antenna could be configured to work either in single-band mode or in one of the defined dual-band modes. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Modified sign-algorithm for adaptive Laguerre equalizer in DS-CDMA communication systems(2015-01-26) ;Benjangkaprasert, C. ;Sirithummachak, P.Lertwatechakul, M.This paper aims to improve the performance of DS-CDMA receiver by using a new adaptive equalizer with a modified sign-algorithm based on Laguerre filter structure. The proposed algorithm is modified version of the conventional sign-regressor algorithm for a Laguerre filter. By the simulation result, the BER performance of the proposed algorithm is shown to be better than the classical sign-regressor (SR) algorithm and the recursive least square (RLS) algorithm in multipath channel. This equalizer not only reduce the effected of ISI, MAI and the implementation cost, but also minimizes the computational complexity and supports the long impulse response system. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Adaptive equalization for DS-CDMA multi-user communication system based on adaptive Laguerre lattice filter(2010-12-01) ;Charoenphol, A. ;Lertwatechakul, M.Benjangkaprasert, C.This paper deals with an adaptive equalizer based on Laguerre lattice filter and the recursive least square (RLS) adaptive algorithm for direct sequence-code division multiple access (DS-CDMA) communication system. Intersymbol interference (ISI) arises due to multipath propagation, which destroys the code orthogonality, gives rise to multiple access interference(MAI). Therefore, the objective of this paper is to minimize the effect of ISI with a long impulse response environment based on the proposed receiver. Because of the stability of Laguerre structure is sharing the characteristic of finite impulse response (FIR) filter and infinite impulse response (IIR) filter and the low sensitively of lattice filter is an attractive characteristic. Therefore, we propose the adaptive equalization based on adaptive Laguerre lattice filter for improve the bit error rate (BER) performance of the receiver. Our simulation results show that the performance of the proposed receiver in terms of BER and the stability are better than the conventional Laguerre filter and FIR filter receivers. ©ICROS. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, CAC with the modified call request delaying method in IP networks(2006-12-01) ;Ongpaibool, K. ;Konkaew, N. ;Lertwatechakul, M. ;Tangtisanon, P.Suwansawat, K.In tliis paper, we propose an improving method for CAC (call admission control) process that could reduce call blocking rate in QoS network, especially in the saturated situation. We modified the proposed CRDM [12] by estimating the call request holding time for an expected new released bandwidth from the traffic descriptor of present active connections. The method performance is shown as simulation results in term of call blocking rate and network utilization ratio which compared among modified CRDM, original CRDM and the traditional CAC on IntServ over DiffServ framework. © 2006 ICASE. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, U-shaped slot antenna for triple-frequency(2006-12-01) ;Tangjitjesada, M. ;Nakasuwan, J. ;Kaewarsa, C. ;Wiriyacosol, P.Anantrasirichai, N.This paper presents the design of U-shaped microstrip slot antenna to achieve triple-frequency operation by using a microstrip line. This antenna is designed for WLAN and X-band applications at resonance frequency 2.4 GHz, 5.2 GHz and 8.3 GHz. The characteristics of antenna are proposed and analyzed for instance S<inf>11</inf> parameter, input impedance, VSWR, current density, and far field radiation patterns. The antenna is analyzed by Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) method which can predict and analysis the electromagnetic response of complex problems. © 2006 IEEE.
