This paper presents blood pressure waveform simulation using the Bernstein polynomial model, Bézier-Bernstein model, and Rational Bézier-Bernstein model. All mathematical models can generate the blood pressure waveform which is similar to the normal blood pressure waveform. Moreover, all mathematical models can simulate a normal blood pressure waveform as well. As the results, the Rational Bezier-Bernstein model is a simple form, low order, easy to implement in the microcontroller.

This paper presents a variable luminance-chrominance gain equalizer for correcting the linear chrominance gain distortion in color TV transmission system. The new technique shows that the chrominance signal amplitude at 4.43 MHz can be controlled by using a delay line network in parallel with a variable resistor R<inf>T</inf>. Therefore, the proposed gain equalizer can be controlled by means of variable resistor R<inf>T</inf> and R<inf>Y</inf> for correction of the chrominance gain distortion. It is also proved to be efficient in equalizing because it offers more advantages. Among the advantages obtained using a delay line network in parallel with a variable resistor when compared to the gain equalizer provide by the other filters. First of all, it can provide a wide range of gain control. Secondly, the circuit of the proposed gain equalizer is simple with low cost. Next, it is also low complexity. At last, the chrominance gain distortion can be easily corrected without much serious delay error. Additionally, a modulated 20T sine-squared pulse test signal is used to test the performance of the proposed gain equalizer.

Video equalizer design for compensated the distortion of the chrominance amplitude in color television transmission system is presented. The approximation is based on the Bernstein Polynomials and generalized bilinear transformation to obtain the transfer function. This approach has several parameters can be varied satisfying stability conditions. And the advantages of the Bernstein Polynomials when compared to the Butterworth, Chebyshev and Thomson Polynomials are three parameters available control the amount of phase and magnitude, linear phase, and flexible for variable of phase. Among all referred advantages so that these methodologies were applied in this paper. In addition, the pulse and bar test signal which has been used to measure linear waveform distortion in TV system is special the modulated 20T sine squared pulse with color sub-carrier 4.43 MHz for PAL system. As a result, the proposed digital video equalizer can be enhance and compress the gain chrominance distortion without degraded it phase characteristic.

The paper describes a frequency discriminator using double capacitive layers uniformly distributed RC network (DURC). The configuration of the circuit consisted of two active DURC notch networks. Herein, the capacitive ratio of the DURC network are used to adjust it steepness of the magnitude slope of a frequency discriminator. It is shown that the output voltage of the circuit has more steepness of slope than does a simple capacitive layer URC. Simulated results of the proposed circuit is investigated. © 2006 IEEE.

This paper presents characteristics of right angle microstrip slot antennas for achive dual frequency that it consists of the slot antenna without stub matching and the slot antenna with stub matching. These antenna have been designed for wireless communication systems. The characteristics of antenna are proposed for instance S<inf>11</inf> parameter, input impedance and VSWR. The antennas are analyzed by using Finite-Difference Time-Domain (FDTD) Method. A verification of our simulation procedure is confirmed by comparing IE3D software which is based on the Method of Moments (MOM). © 2005 IEEE.

We presents design consideration for a new technique using the distributed RC line to realize an active high frequency continuous-time high-pass filter. We employ a MOS transistor circuit to mimic the characteristic of distributed RC line. The same filter transfer function was obtained from our design without changing any topology and elements in the filter. It also has the possibility to adjust the pass band of the filter independently. The Orcad PSpice software with a standard MOSFET technology (0.8μm) was used for the filter simulation. Experiments and the satisfactory results that compare the simulation of our designed with the idea filter are presented and discussed © 2005 IEEE.

In this paper, we present the use of the Bernstein Polynomials to obtain an IIR digital filter transfer function, which can be applied to video equalizer for compensating the amplitude of chrominance signal in color television. In addition, experimental results are carried out by using the modulated 20T sine squared signal on the color sub carrier 4.43 MHz. It is shown here that the proposed equalizer can either enhance or compress the chrominance signal in color television transmission.

In this paper used an Active Uniformly Distributed RC lines (ŪRCs) circuit is application to sinusoidal oscillator. The frequency of oscillator can be controlled and adjustable by varying an single pole amplifier. The circuit incorporated an gain controller loop (ko) for amplitude stabilization with low distortion. The realization of simulation and experimental results are in reasona-bly good agreement with the theoretical , and very low harmonic distortion. This circuit can be suitable for the process fabricated LSI chip, and can be application in electronic communications system.

The problem of switching frequency over the fundamental period of the modulation signal in fixed band delta modulation is improved by adding a triangular carrier wave to the sinusoidal reference and forcing the integrator output to follow the sum of these two signals is proposed in this paper. The proposed method is applied to the voltage source inverters for variable-speed three-phase induction motor drives applications(VSD).
