Item type:Publication, Characterization of Bi-doped FAPbI3 perovskite films investigated by X-ray absorption spectroscopy(2025-12-01) ;Wechprasit, Tirapat ;Bootchanont, Atipong ;Infahsaeng, Yingyot ;Wongjom, PoramedWannapaiboon, SuttipongA thorough investigation of perovskite structures formed through doping is essential for advancing the efficiency and stability of perovskite solar cells. In this study, Bi-doped FAPbI<inf>3</inf> perovskite films with varying Bi concentrations (0.5–2%) were fabricated using a spin-coating technique on ITO glass substrates. Then the films’ phase structure, local structure, and optical characteristics were analyzed. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis revealed that the pristine FAPbI<inf>3</inf> film exhibited both hexagonal and cubic phases, indicating structural instability. In contrast, Bi-doped FAPbI<inf>3</inf> films predominantly displayed a cubic perovskite structure, with a notable reduction in the XRD peak intensity corresponding to the hexagonal phase. UV–Vis spectroscopy showed that the undoped FAPbI<inf>3</inf> film had an absorption edge in the visible-near infrared range, while Bi-doping caused a redshift, indicating a reduction in the optical band gap. The calculated results show that optical band gaps decrease with increasing Bi, from a value of 1.49 (pure) to 1.43 (2% Bi) eV. X-ray absorption near edge structure (XANES) analysis confirmed the oxidation states of Pb2+ and Bi3+ ions across all samples, with Bi ions replacing Pb in the local structure. Photoluminescence (PL) measurements revealed an increased PL intensity with 1% Bi doping (7 105) compared with pristine FAPbI<inf>3</inf> (4.7 105), suggesting a reduction in carrier recombination. These findings demonstrate the potential of Bi-doping to stabilize perovskite structures with improved optoelectronic properties. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Effect of thermal annealing on the structure of LiCoO2 powders prepared by co-precipitation method(2021-12-01) ;Khejonrak, Awadol ;Chanlek, Narong ;Sukkha, Usa ;Triamnak, NaritChirawatkul, PraeLithium cobalt oxide (LiCoO<inf>2</inf>) powder was prepared by co-precipitation method and annealed at different temperatures of between 300 and 700 °C. The effect of annealing temperature and effect washing process with deionized water on the crystal structures of the prepared LiCoO<inf>2</inf> powders were thoroughly studied by Synchrotron powder X-Ray Diffraction (Syn-XRD), X-ray Absorption Spectroscopy (XAS), Dispersive Raman Microscopy (Raman) techniques. The change in chemical composition as a function of annealing temperature was also investigated by X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS) technique. The crystal structural results identified the phase evolution of the prepared LiCoO<inf>2</inf> powders upon heat treatment. The formation of HT-LiCoO<inf>2</inf> phase was observed at annealing temperature as low as 300 °C. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Phase formation and evolution of Cu:Zn partials in binary metal pyrophosphates Cu(2-x)Zn(x)P2O7; X ≈ 1(2014-11-20) ;Baitahe, RattanaiVittayakorn, NaratipBinary metal pyrophosphate powders were prepared by the solid state reaction method and subsequently calcined at 400, 500, 600, 700, and 800 °C in order to study Cu:Zn partial evolution to the final CuZnP<inf>2</inf>O<inf>7</inf> product. Synchrotron X-ray absorption, X-ray diffraction, Raman, FT-IR spectroscopy, and thermogravimetric analysis were used in this investigation. Phase evolution of the reaction products was investigated systemically. The results showed that complicated mixtures contributed to the reaction of synthesis temperature. The reaction comprised 3CuO·2P<inf>2</inf>O<inf>5</inf>·0.3NH<inf>3</inf>·0.2H<inf>2</inf>O, Cu<inf>2</inf>P<inf>2</inf>O<inf>7</inf>, Zn<inf>2</inf>P<inf>2</inf>O<inf>7</inf>, and Zn<inf>2</inf>P<inf>2</inf>O<inf>7</inf>·3H<inf>2</inf>O intermediates. Decreasing percentage of 3CuO·2P<inf>2</inf>O<inf>5</inf>·0.3NH<inf>3</inf>·0.2H<inf>2</inf>O intermediates was related directly to an increasing final product. Cu:Zn contents changed in Cu<inf>(2-x)</inf>Zn<inf>(x)</inf>P<inf>2</inf>O<inf>7</inf> in the temperature range of 400-600 °C, when x ≈ 1 clearly was related linearly to the reaction temperature. The final product was confirmed by EXAFS fitting spectra as solid solution between the Cu and Zn atom in the CuZnP<inf>2</inf>O<inf>7</inf> structure, and it indicated environment around metal atoms. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, X-ray absorption spectroscopy studies of Cu (2-x)Zn xP2O7 binary pyrophosphates(2013-01-01) ;Baitahe, Rattanai ;Kongmark, Chanapa ;Muanghlua, Rangson ;Seeharaj, PanpailinVittayakorn, NaratipBinary metal pyrophosphates; Cu<inf>(2-x)</inf>Zn<inf>x</inf>P <inf>2</inf>O<inf>7</inf> (x = 0.0-2.0) compounds, were prepared via the solid solution method. The synthesize powders were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD). The local structure of Cu was analyzed by the mean of synchrotron X-ray absorption near the edge structure (XANES). The Cu2+-O1, Cu 2+-O2 and Cu-Cu/Zn distances determined are extended X-ray absorption fine structure (EXAFS) measurements at the Cu K-edge, with a distance of about 1.52, 2.11, and 2.74 Å. The correlation between the structural changes and Cu content was analyzed and discussed. The analysis of the EXAFS spectra collected at the Cu K-edge indicates that the local structure around Cu atoms also is affected by the introduction of Zn atoms in the structure. © 2013 Copyright Taylor and Francis Group, LLC.
