Item type:Publication, Integrating project-based blended learning and design thinking to enhance creativity and openness to experience(2025-01-01) ;Wang, Xiaoqing ;Ratanaolarn, ThaninSitthiworachart, JiraratEntrepreneurship education fosters economic growth and career development, yet innovative learning methods and research on openness to experience and creativity remain underexplored in higher vocational education. This study proposes the PjBBL-DT learning model and evaluates its impact on openness to experience and creativity through a 15-week 3-phase quasi-experiment with 61 first-year Chinese vocational students, using PjBBL model in Phase I and PjBBL-DT model in Phases II-III. Five experts evaluated the model, with mean and standard deviation scores indicating high quality. Repeated measures MANOVA revealed a significant improvement in creativity in Phase II, with no significant difference between Phases II and III, suggesting both immediate effects and retention. Openness to experience increased progressively across phases, demonstrating significant improvement but limited retention effect. The findings confirm the model's effectiveness in entrepreneurship education for higher vocational colleges. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, How Successful in Individual Prosumer Performance in Thailand(2021-06-25) ;Sa-Ardnak, Arissa ;Chaiyasoonthorn, WornchanokChaveesuk, SinghaThe evolution of technology has affected consumer behavior around the world, including through faster, more frequent data consumption, data comparison, and more self-specific needs. This makes consumers more keenly focused on self-production. The prosumer society is plentiful and focuses on effectiveness. This results in greater quality control problems. The usage of those who do not yet value it are less clear. Workers are not paid for their work, unlike other economies. The prosumer shares their knowledge in a way which is fulfilling. A professional prosumer shares their knowledge with society that makes them proud. The technology usage will help improve individual prosumers' key to success. This study offers a conceptual framework of factors that affect individual prosumer performance. This article synthesizes Technology Cultural Theory (TCT) based on TAM2, Information System Success Model (ISS) based on the IS success model, Prosumer Theory (PT) based on consumer behavior, and Individual Prosumer Performance (IPP) based on individual performance. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, A model of socio-technical systems enhancing creativity(2017-07-02) ;Chaiyasoonthorn, WomchanokSuksa-Ngiam, WatanyooInformation system (IS) research has not yet been used to explain individual and team creativity in organizations. It is already a fact that creativity is important not only for individuals but also for organizations. However, although we deem creativity as important, we have not yet connected it with the current findings in IS theory. In this research, the objective is to draw a connection among theories in IS and psychology to explain creativity in organization, which is based on the interaction among information technology and social systems. We then present key propositions and constructs as a form of a proposed theoretical framework. We suggest how to develop these constructs and test future hypotheses. We will use exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) during the process of instrumental development. Structural equation modeling (SEM) will be used in the future research for hypothesis testing. We also discuss the expected contribution of this paper to information systems. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Use of weblogs to enhance group learning and design creativity amongst students at a Thai University(2014-01-01) ;Auttawutikul, Siwanit ;Wiwitkunkasem, KasemrutSmith, Duncan R.This study reports on the introduction of weblogs as a part of the teaching environment for Thai students to facilitate group learning and enhance creativity. Assessment of progress was through formal creative thought testing, as well as a questionnaire with both structured and open questions. Results showed a significant improvement in assessed creativity at the end of the trial period with weblogs being perceived as enhancing both group learning and creativity. Overall, the results suggest that the use of weblogs provide an environment in which Thai students can more freely show individual creativity within an enhanced peer collectivism structure. © 2013 Taylor & Francis.
