Item type:Publication, Improved Dielectric, Magnetic, and Multiferroic Properties of (Bi0.5Na0.5)0.7La0.3(Ti0.7Fe0.3)O3 Ceramics Synthesis by the Solid-State Combustion Technique(2025-06-01) ;Kornphom, Chittakorn ;Somsri, Widchaya ;Prasertpalichat, Sasipohn ;Thatawong, BhoowadolKruea-In, ChatchaiLead-free (Bi<inf>0.5</inf>Na<inf>0.5</inf>)<inf>0.7</inf>La<inf>0.3</inf>(Ti<inf>0.7</inf>Fe<inf>0.3</inf>)O<inf>3</inf> ceramics (abbreviated as BNLTF) are synthesized by the solid-state combustion technique using glycine as fuel. The effect of the firing temperature (calcined between 700 and 800 °C for 2 h and sintered between at 800 and 900 °C for 2 h) on the phase structure, microstructure, electrical, and magnetic properties is investigated. Pure BNLTF powders are obtained with a calcination temperature of 750 °C for 2 h and the crystal size increases from 47 to 62 nm when the calcination temperature increases from 700 to 800 °C. All sintered BNLTF ceramics show a pure perovskite structure with a rhombohedral phase. The average grain size increases with increasing sintering temperatures. A well-packed microstructure with the highest density (5.98 g cm−3), good dielectric properties at room temperature (ε<inf>r</inf> ≈ 589 and tanδ ≈ 0.572), soft ferroelectric behavior, and excellent magnetic properties (M<inf>s</inf> ≈ 0.091 emu g−1, M<inf>r</inf> ≈ 0.0026 emu g−1) is obtained from the ceramic sintered at 875 °C for 2 h. The multiferroic BNLTF ceramic sintered at 875 °C has a maximum magnetoelectric coupling coefficient (α<inf>E</inf> ≈ 2.08 mV cm−1 Oe−1) when the magnetic field is near 4500 Oe. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Influence of Mn doping on the magnetic properties of CoFe2O 4(2014-01-03) ;Roongtao, Rachanusorn ;Baitahe, Rattanai ;Vittayakorn, Naratip ;Seeharaj, PanpailinVittayakorn, Wanwilai C.A series of CoFe<inf>2-x</inf>MnxO<inf>4</inf> ceramics were synthesized successfully by conventional solid state reaction. The X-ray diffraction analysis proved that all samples were found to have a cubic spinel structure. Diffractograms were used for Rietveld refinement to determine lattice parameters, of which lattice parameter increased with increasing Mn concentration. The microstructure of the samples was studied using scanning electron microscopy. The vibrating sample magnetometer measurements showed that the highest saturated magnetization of 118.11 emu/g and coercivity of 46.89 Oe were observed in CoFe<inf>1.85</inf>Mn<inf>0.15</inf>O<inf>4</inf> ceramic. Furthermore, X-ray absorption spectra of the samples were recorded to determine the Co, Fe and Mn valence states and their preferentially sites of the spinel structure. © 2014 Taylor and Francis Group, LLC. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Structural and magnetic properties of Zn doped CoFe2O 4(2013-12-01) ;Roongtao, Rachanusorn ;Baitahe, Rattanai ;Vittayakorn, Naratip ;Klysubun, WantanaVittayakorn, Wanwilai C.Zinc doped cobalt ferrite powders were prepared by the solid state reaction method. The effect of zinc substitution on structure, morphology and magnetic properties was investigated. The X-ray analysis confirmed existence of the single phase cubic spinel structure, while Rietveld refinement data showed increasing of lattice parameters with zinc content. In addition, saturated magnetization increased with increasing zinc concentration and it was contained at maximum in CoFe<inf>1.9</inf>Zn0.<inf>1</inf>O<inf>4</inf> powders. However, the value of coercivity was decreased with zinc doped content. Furthermore, the oxidative states were characterized by X-ray absorption spectroscopy. The results confirm that the structure contained Co2+, Fe3+ and Zn2+ ions. © 2013 Copyright Taylor and Francis Group, LLC.
