Item type:Publication, Implementation of self-tuning fuzzy PI controller on DCS for flow control system(2015-01-01) ;Assawathanatorn, K. ;Anuntahirunrat, K.Chitwong, S.In case of changing a communication between field instruments and controller from analog signal into digital signal or of changing a model of plant, performance of controller is degraded because of the fixed controller parameters such as PID controller. To solve this problem, a self-tuning PID controller is proposed. One of a popular self-tuning method is self-tuning fuzzy. Many researchers have been presented the self-tuning fuzzy PID controller. In this paper, we present implementing of self-tuning fuzzy PI controller for flow control system. Both fuzzy and PI controller is implemented on distributed control system (DCS) as controller at which communication between field instruments and distributed control system is via both the analog input and output modules as analog signal in range of 4-20mA and digital signal as Profibus PA. The PI controller parameters, proportional gain and integral time, from auto-tuning method is used to control plant, flow control system, by using analog signal at which result shows that flow process variable reaches to flow set point. The same PI controller parameters is applied for PROFIBUS PA at which results shows that flow process variable oscillates because of effect of delay-time taken place from communication between field instruments and distributed control system. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Current-conveyor-based single-element-controlled and current-controlled sinusoidal oscillators(2006-07-01) ;Fongsamut, C. ;Anuntahirunrat, K. ;Kumwachara, K.Surakampontorn, W.A new single-element-controlled sinusoidal oscillator circuit that incorporates two second generation current conveyors (CCIIs), two grounded capacitors and two resistors is presented and analysed. The circuit is beneficial to monolithic integrated circuit implementation by the use of grounded capacitors. In addition, a new current-controlled sinusoidal oscillator using only two second generation current controlled conveyors (CCCIIs) and two grounded capacitors can be achieved by replacing CCIIs and resistors series at X terminals with CCCIIs. The oscillators provide extremely low passive 0 -sensitivities and good frequency stability. Moreover, the oscillation frequencies of the CCII-based and the CCCII-based oscillators can be controlled, respectively, by a grounded resistor and by an external bias current. Experimental and SPICE simulation results that confirm the theoretical predictions are given. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, On the use of norator transformation in oscillator circuits(2006-01-01) ;Anuntahirunrat, K. ;Fongsamu, C. ;Surakampontorn, W.Fujii, N.This paper presents a transformation of two norators for generating a class of current-conveyor-based oscillator circuits using two second generation current conveyor (CCIIs), two capacitors and two resistors. The generating method is through the representation of the nullator-norator equivalents of oscillator circuits. In addition, half of all circuits can be realized by employing RC:CR transformation. There are 5 additional circuits of this kind possible that have not been found in the published literature. © 2006 IEEE. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Item type:Publication, Sinusoidal frequency doubler and full-wave rectifier using translinear current controlled conveyors(2000-12-01) ;Anuntahirunrat, K. ;Tangsrirat, W. ;Riewruja, V.Surakampontorn, W.An alternative technique for realizing both a sinusoidal frequency doubler and a fall-wave rectifier, using translinear current controlled conveyors as active circuit elements, is presented. The frequency doubling and the rectifying action are exploited from the translinear characteristic of the current conveyor. Simulation results are given to confirm the theoretical predictions. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Sinusoidal frequency doubler and full-wave rectifier using translinear current conveyor(1998-10-29) ;Surakampontorn, W. ;Anuntahirunrat, K.Riewruja, V.A simple circuit design technique for realising both a sinusoidal frequency doubler and a full-wave rectifier, employing a translinear current conveyor and current mirrors as active circuit elements, is proposed. The implementation method uses the inherited translinear loop of the translinear current conveyor to perform frequency doubling and rectification. The performance of the scheme is demonstrated by PSPICE simulations.
