Item type:Publication, Adaptive equalizer for DS-CDMA multi-user communication system using sign-algorithm based on Laguerre filter structure(2014-01-01) ;Sirithummachak, P.Benjangkaprasert, C.This paper proposes a sign-algorithm based on adaptive Laguerre filter structure for improving the performance of the direct sequence-code division multiple access (DS-CDMA) communication system. The proposed adaptive equalizer employs a combination of sign and least mean square (LMS) algorithms to minimizing the effect of inter-symbol interference (ISI) that arises due to multipath propagation, and the computational complexity of equalizer. The performance of proposed equalizer was compared with traditional equalizers such as LMS and RLS algorithms in terms of varying path. The function detail and performance results of the proposed equalizer are described by computer simulations in terms of the bit error rate (BER). © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Adaptive Laguerre filter for DS-CDMA multi-user communication system(2010-05-28) ;Benjangkaprasert, C.Inchan, T.In this paper proposes a receiver for direct sequence-code division multiple access (DS-CDMA) multi-user communication system based on Laguerre filter and the recursive least squares (RLS) adaptive algorithm. Intersymbol interference (ISI) is usually caused by multipath propagation and the inherent non-linear frequency response of a channel. Therefore, the objective of this paper is to minimize the effects of ISI with a long impulse response environment based on the proposed receiver. Because of the stability of Laguerre structure is compromise between the finite impulse response (FIR) filter and infinite impulse response (IIR) filter. It can improve the bit error rate (BER) performance of the proposed receiver compared to the conventional FIR filter receiver. The simulation results show that the performances of the proposed receiver in terms of BER and the stability are better than does the conventional FIR filter receiver. ©2010 IEEE. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Adaptive feedback equalization receiver for DS-CDMA with turbo coded systems(2005-01-01) ;Chompoo, S. ;Benjangkaprasert, C. ;Anatrasirichai, N.Janchitrapongvej, K.In this paper, adaptive equalizer receiver for a turbo code direct sequence code division multiple access (DS-CDMA) by using Least Mean Square (LMS) adaptive algorithm is presented. The proposed adaptive equalizer is based on finite impulse response (FIR) filter structure in which included Conventional Adaptive Equalizer, Decision Feedback Adaptive Equalizer and Feedback Adaptive Equalizer. The objective of the proposed equalizer is to minimize the bit error rate of the data due to the disturbances of noise and intersymbol interference phenomenon on the channel of the digital communication system. The computer simulation results shown that the proposed feedback adaptive equalizer provides a good bit error rate than the others one such as conventional adaptive equalizer, decision feedback adaptive equalizer.
