Item type:Publication, Mathematical Model for an Autonomous Vehicle to Fulfill the Closed Area(2022-01-01); ;Chitsakul, PakkineeThis research presents the mathematical model to roam an autonomous vehicle in a closed region with minor coincident areas. This model is Blind Algorithm, no literature that concern on mathematical model. It is essential for agricultural technology, for example, shoveling soil for planting, spraying liquid fertilizer, harvesting agricultural products, to control the movement of the vehicle with the redundant path is as less as possible is benefited to decrease the working hours and also the burning oil and more for cost-saving without any expensive hardware. The almost wholly filled farmland depends on the shape, the size of the area, and the vehicle dimension. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, The Structure Theorem for the Cut Locus of a Certain Class of Cylinders of Revolution II(2015-06-01) ;Chitsakul, PakkineeFuruya, Y.In the previous paper [C], the structure of the cut locus was determined for a class of surfaces of revolution homeomorphic to a cylinder. In this paper, we prove the structure theorem of the cut locus for a wider class of surfaces of revolution homeomorphic to a cylinder. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, The geometry of a randers rotational surface(2015-01-01) ;Hama, Rattanasak ;Chitsakul, PakkineeSabau, Sorin V.We study the behaviour of geodesics on a Randers rotational surface of revolution. The main tool is the extension of Clairaut relation from Riemannian case to the Randers case. Moreover, we consider the embedding problem of this surface in a Minkowski space as a hypersurface. Finally, we study the rays and poles as well as the structure of the cut locus of a Randers rotational surface of revolution of von Mangoldt type.1 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, The structure theorem for the cut locus of a certain class of cylinders of revolution I(2014-12-01) ;Chitsakul, PakkineeKomori-Furuya, Y.The aim of this paper is to determine the structure of the cut locus for a class of surfaces of revolution homeomorphic to a cylinder. Let M denote a cylinder of revolution which admits a reflective symmetry fixing a parallel called the equator of M. It will be proved that the cut locus of a point p of M is a subset of the union of the meridian and the parallel opposite to p respectively, if the Gaussian curvature of M is decreasing on each upper half meridian. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Mathematical simulation of nonlinear effects in micro ring resonator(2006-11-14) ;Yupapin, P. P. ;Teeka, ChatChitsakul, PakkineeIn this paper, we demonstrate the mathematical simulation data of light traveling in an optical micro ring resonator. The optical nonlinear properties such as chaos, bifurcation, bistability and instability of the optical outputs are studied. By changing the optical parameters that result the change of the optical output intensities, the nonlinear behaviors such as bifurcation, chaos and bistability effects are occurred. The relationship between the optical parameters and output intensities are derived by varying the interested parameters such as coupling coefficient (κ), nonlinear refractive index (n<inf>2</inf>), and linear phase shift (φ<inf>0</inf>). The results obtained are presented and plotted showing that the optical parameters can be changed i.e. controlled, and then the nonlinear effects characteristics can be predicted and controlled. © 2006 IEEE. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Approximation necrotic volume from area of cross sections(2006-05-01) ;Hiransakolwong, NualsawatChitsakul, PakkineeOsteosarcoma is the most common primary malignant bone tumor (bone cancer) in children and adolescents. Doctors currently treat Osteosarcoma patients by combining a biopsy and Chemotherapy. After a patient has undergone Chemotherapy, doctors do a biopsy to establish the ratio of necrotic (dead tissue) to cancer cells in the bone. Based on these results, the decision for treatment is made. The current method is to compute the ratio by finding an average of the cross sections. This method is prone to error if the surfaces of cross sections have so different values. We do not know the real volumes of dead tissue and cancer cells therefore we create 3D graphic bone models within any shape used in simulation for the bone biopsy and then the ground truth (the ratio of volumes of dead tissue to cancer cells for each model) is known. Many Interpolation methods and Romberg integration method are used in simulations to predict the dead tissue and cancer cell volumes from known areas on cuts (cross sections). The ratio between these two volumes is then computed. Experiments show interpolation methods and Romberg integration method are more accurate results than the current method used. The Cubic Spline Interpolation is the best method among the other interpolation methods and Romberg integration method. Experiments show that the error in the current method with its ground truth is in a range of between zero and 47 percent. From experiments, the Cubic Spline Interpolation method gives more accurate results than the current method used. The error of the proposed (the Cubic Spline Interpolation) method with its ground truth is less than 10 percent.
