Item type:Publication, Measurement uncertainty evaluation for yaw error reduction(2019-01-01) ;Harnnarong, Sh ;Chinchusak, Wanchai ;Numsomran, Arjin ;Hormchoey, PisitTipsuwanporn, VittayaThe previous research compared the yaw measurement error between a rotary encoder and a couple of single beam laser (CSL) module, that those result emphasized only repeatability of yaw measurement error. In order to complete correspondingly with the metrological algorithm. This research presents the measurement uncertainty evaluation of yaw measurement error with the CSL module that based on the guide to the expression of uncertainty in measurement. The measurement uncertainty of the CSL module calibration is 12.30 arcsec. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, The improved sensitivity of remote robot control via parallel method(2015-12-23) ;Samaimak, S. ;Tipsuwanporn, V. ;Numsomran, A.Harnnarong, ShIn a robot control system, the process of data reading affects the consumed time which will directly affect to the time is used in this system. The more channels exist, the more time will be consumed in the robot control system. This work presents the application of parallel reading in the wireless receiver with eight channels for robot semi-automatic control. The software presented in this work was intentionally written as a standard library for Arduino which can read both in sequence and parallel. Obviously the result shows that the all of eight channels, the parallel reading in this work consumed the reading time less than the sequence reading, which decreased the time consumed in the reading process. It affects to improve the sensitivity of remote robot control. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Development of redundant bus library for arduino to apply in SCADA system(2014-12-16) ;Tipsuwanporn, V. ;Numsomran, A. ;Samaimak, S.Harnnarong, ShIn this paper, we developed the library for the microcontroller platform Arduino to apply in Modbus SCADA systems. This library allows Arduino board to communicate with RS-485 and use Modbus protocol which transmits data via a redundant bus. Experiments are conducted to compare the stability of data communication between a regular bus and a redundant bus which is the developed library. The results show the developed library Arduino board is able to communicate with redundant buses and more resistant to faults than conventional buses. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Software developments for modbus SCADA to extend distance to 2x for controlled devices(2013-12-01) ;Tipsuwanporn, V. ;Numsomran, A. ;Samaimak, S.Harnnarong, ShModbus protocol is a protocol that is widely used in SCADA systems. Because it is an open standard protocol. It can be programmed for communications in embedded devices easily. When using the Modbus protocol on RS-485 bus systems, the communication distance is limited to 1.2 km; typically a repeater is used to boost the signal to further the distance. This paper presents an OPC Server and Firmware update to increase the working distance of the control devices. The update is also compatible with existing standard devices as well. © 2013 IEEE. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Evaporative estimation using data fusion(2008-12-01) ;Roengruen, P. ;Tipsuwannaporn, V. ;Numsomran, A.Harnnarong, ShThis paper present evaporative estimation of water using data fusion technique. There are many factors in evaporative locating process that provided for consideration together. So this paper will be study about factors with concerning in meteorology that influential to evaporation and explained about relation of these factors by statistical method. The used data obtained from Thai Meteorological Department which collects daily data for the environment with various sensors. The results of data fusion process will be shown value of daily evaporation that provided to comparing between the evaporative value of pan evaporation and calculated by hydrology formula. © 2008 SICE.
