This paper presents a new model of optical channel allocation named "IRBUS" for improving the operation of a DWDM light source multiplexing by not have to use an optical filter in the DWDM de-multiplexer device. By our method can reduce transmission loss in case of the number of channels are plentiful and each of the channels is nearby that be found in Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) Systems. The transmission loss is called "Four-Wave Mixing (FWM)" caused by the nonlinearity of the optical fiber signal. The results of numerical computation shown that the IRBUS model can decrease average FWM efficiency from -12.03dBm to -28.27dBm indicated that the remains FWM value are less than other methods and can also reduce the BER probabilities from - 5dBm to -19.75 dBm. © 2013 SPIE.

This paper proposes the new technique to improve the conventional techniques in the channel allocations, in order to reduce transmission loss, in case of there are a large number of channel and each of channel is nearby. We have found this case in Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) that is the cause of transmission loss called Four-Wave Mixing due to the fiber nonlinear. The channel allocations that used to resolve this problem are Equally Spaced (ES), Unequally Spaced (US), Repeated Alternate US (RAUS). This paper present the new technique to arrange the channel allocation in called paired URAUS to avoid the four-wave mixing. From the simulation results, the new proposed technique has lower the effect of Four-Wave Mixing than the conventional techniques and decrease bit error probabilities and bandwidth, containing higher channels, in DWDM transmission systems.

This article is study on loss from fusion splice for single mode optic fibers from any errors in order to find out the actual loss cause. The loss from hsion splicing is compared with the loss obtained from simulation. The result can predict the error caused by firsion splicing. It will be an actual error at junction, so fusion splicing loss of fiber optic can be reduced. Sometimes, the technician just notices that fusion splicing has some loss but he does not know the actual cause. Researcher want to find out and prepare the Microsoft access program for checking Ioss and cause from any errors. It will be useful for the technician to train and to decrease any errors from fusion splice. The heat to be radiated from fusion splice and parameters of b i o n splice are important to be considered. The comparison involves the development of optic fiber to the gateway of data high speed. This simulation is. technically easy and can do actual performance and can be adapted to telecommunications system.
