Item type:Publication, Performance study of dynamic framed slotted ALOHA for RFID systems(2008-10-06) ;Kaewsirisin, Sarunya ;Supanakoon, Pichaya ;Promwong, Sathaporn ;Sukutamtanti, NikornKetprom, UrachadaWhen more than two tags respond to a reader request at same time slot, the tag collision occurs. This is one of disadvantages in radio frequency identification (RFID) system. The performance of anti-collision algorithms is important to overcome this problem. In this paper, the performance of dynamic framed slotted ALOHA (DFSA) is studied. The DFSA with mute tags is considered and compared with framed slotted ALOHA (FSA) with mute tags. The average used time slot, probabilities of ideal time slot, collision time slot and successful time slot are shown. The results are discussed in the conclusion. ©2008 IEEE. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Ground reflection path loss based on average power loss for ultra wideband communications(2007-12-01) ;Supanakoon, Pichaya ;Kaewsirisin, Sarunya ;Promwong, Sathapom ;Noppanakeepong, SuthichaiTakada, Jun IchiIn this paper, the ground reflection path loss based on average power loss for ultra wideband (UWB) communications is proposed. The expression is derived from the rectangular passband waveform and extension of Friis" transmission formula in the terms of the closed form formula based on average power loss. The results are compared with other models and verified with the measurement result. From the results, this proposed model corresponds with compared models and measurement result.
