Item type:Publication, Novel soliton cryptography using optical key generated by orthogonal dark-bright soliton pair(2012-08-01) ;Louangvilay, Xaythavy ;Mitatha, Somsak ;Yoshida, Masahiro ;Komine, NoriyukiYupapin, Preecha P.A new method of optical cryptography using dark-bright soliton conversion control within a modified add/drop optical filter is proposed. A pair of optical keys is randomly generated and transmitted into the transmission line, where finally the corrected keys between Alice (sender) and Bob (receiver) can be retrieved. In principle, the coincidence (orthogonal) dark-bright soliton pair has shown promising behaviors, especially when they propagate into the π/2 phase shifter, i.e. beamsplitter, the shift in phase of π/2 between dark and bright solitons is occurred and separated. Such behaviors can be used to form the orthogonal light modes (solitons), which are useful for cryptographic application, where in this case the longdistance cryptography can be easily managed. We have derived and presented a new concept of multi-orthogonal solitons generated by using dark-bright soliton pulses within the modified add/drop optical filter, which is known as a PANDA ring resonator. By using the dark-bright soliton conversion control, the obtained output of the dynamic states can be used to randomly form the multi-orthogonal soliton pairs, which can be available for computer and communication security applications, especially for long-distance link. © 2012 Society of Photo-Optical Instrumentation Engineers (SPIE). - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, All-optical binary to decimal converter with dark-bright soliton conversion control(2011-05-02) ;Punthawanut, Suphanchai ;Yupapin, Preecha P. ;Louangvilay, XaythavyMitatha, SomsakIn this paper we propose all-optical binary to decimal converter with dark-bright soliton conversion control. The input logic '0' and '1' are performed by dark and bright soliton, respectively. By using the dark-bright soliton conversion behavior with in the π/2 phase shift device, we can use the drop and though port output for represent decimal number output for each binary input. This is a simple and flexible scheme for performed logic switching system, which can be used in advanced complex logic. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Quantum CNOT gate operation using dark-bright soliton pair(2011-05-02) ;Punthawanunt, Suphanchai ;Yupapin, Preecha P. ;Louangvilay, XaythavyMitatha, SomsakA simple system of a quantum CNOT gate operation using dark and bright solitons in a Mach Zhender interferometer (MZI) is proposed. In this concept, two qubits are randomly generated by using the coincidence dark and bright soliton states within the MZI, in which (|D〉) and (|B〉) represent the orthogonal dark and bright soliton states, which they are input into the MZI input ports simultaneously. The randomly input dark and bright soliton pulses can perform the random logical codes after propagating through a phase retarder of (π/2). By using low power soliton, the soliton power can reduce to a single photon power (10-6 W), where finally the quantum gate can be performed by using the single photon detection scheme. The quantum controlled-NOT (CNOT) gate is formed by controlling the input and coincidence solitons (photons), where in some cases the phase shifter is required to obtain the coincidence solitons. type your own text. Item type:Publication, Super DWDM light source generation for personnel health data and security camera(2010-08-02) ;Louangvilay, Xaythavy ;Mitatha, SomsakYupapin, Preecha P.We propose a novel system of a dense wavelength division operation using the nonlinear micro ring resonators system that can be used to generate the broad output light spectra, whereas the significant increasing in channel capacity is obtained. A system consists of two micro and a nano ring resonators incorporating an add/drop filter that can be integrated into a single system. The large bandwidth signal is generated by using a soliton pulse propagating within a Kerr type nonlinear medium. The obtained results have shown the potential of using such system for broad band light source generation, amplification, storage and regeneration, whereas the amplified signals can be stored within a nano-waveguide, which is allowed to form the regeneration of the broad light spectra after amplification. The advantage is that the specific wavelength of the broadband source, for instance, 1.50 μm can provide the super dense wavelength division multiplexing channels, whereas the increasing in channel capacity of 200 times is achieved. The use of super dense wavelength division multiplexing for large population monitoring and closed circuit television for security using the personnel wavelength carrier and networking is described and discussed in details.
