Item type:Publication, Void Handling by Utilizing Location-Based Assistance Through Trajectory Mapping(2023-01-01) ;Phoummavong, Phonepadith ;Khieovongphachanh, Vimontha ;Luangxaysana, Khanthanou ;Southisombath, PhouthongPromwong, SathapornThe Ad hoc Networks (MANETs) rely heavily on location-Aided routing protocols due to their energy-saving capabilities and ability to extend the network lifetime, especially in emergency situations where private IP addresses are unavailable. However, the route discovery process of the location-Aided routing (LAR) is ineffective in void zone environments where data packets cannot reach their intended destination. To address this issue, this paper presents a new approach called Location-Aided base on trajectory that eliminates the void zone. The results demonstrate that the proposed method outperforms existing approaches in terms of reachability, making it a more robust alternative to the default location-Aided routing protocol. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Location Context Awareness System for Specific Positioning Based on Received Signal Strength for Android Platform System(2023-01-01) ;Nonalinsavath, Khamla ;Khieovongphachanh, Vimontha ;Southisombath, Phouthong ;Chaisang, AditepPhomkeona, SanouphabIn the current era of seamless integration across various contexts, the ability to track mobility both indoors and outdoors has become crucial for many individuals. Tracking the path of mobility from the initial point to the final destination is essential in numerous aspects of human life. This study presents a location-Aware computing application that facilitates the smooth integration of indoor and outdoor environments by combining both requirements within a smart device-based system, without any barriers. The proposed work utilizes the Global Positioning System (GPS) and the Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) to measure external conditions, while Wi-Fi Fingerprinting (Wi-Fi) is employed to accurately determine the user's indoor locations using received signal strength indicator. The integration of indoor and outdoor technologies ensures seamless user mobility. As users transition between different conditions, the system effectively addresses the complexities that arise between indoor and outdoor locations. The transition time between indoor and outdoor is less than 5 seconds, with seamless switching occurring in the overlapped areas. In our experiments conducted within a campus building, the system achieved a remarkable accuracy of 98.4% for outdoor-To-indoor movement and 97.7% for the reverse movement. Furthermore, the seamless location system offers significant benefits to users, including the discovery of new system features, access to directional maps, and guidance along pathways from their current locations. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Measurement and Modeling of WUWB Impluse Radio Transmission with Indoor Environment(2018-07-02) ;Praseuth, Souphavady ;Lakanchanh, Donekeo ;Luangxaysana, KhanthanouPromwong, SathapornWireless ultra wideband (WUWB) technology is developed very fast in the past few years. It offers many competitive advantages. In communications, it can provide better performance for wireless network applications with high data rate and multimedia system. WUWB thus, communication systems have been subjected to extensive research and development projects. This paper focuses on the power delay profile in WUWB-IR system. This analysis emphasizes on power delay profile consideration between transmitter and receiver based on measurement data in an indoor environment. This research considers in an indoor environment for short range communication. The concept of model, we suppose the transmitter is a human body and receiver is general electric appliance for example television, camcorder, Laptop, Mobile phone and other appliances that can received signal from the human body. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, All optical logic NAND gate using dark-bright soliton conversion control(2012-11-12) ;Soysouvanh, Saysamone ;Phongsanam, Prapas ;Luangxaysana, Khanthanou ;Mitatha, SomsakNoriyuki, KomineIn this paper, we present a new concept of all-optical gates using Dark-Bright soliton conversion behaviors within a modified add/drop filter. The soliton can be used to generate logic data "1" and "0" using for optical gates. We have designed a photonic circuit for all-optical logic NAND Gate using dark-bright soliton conversion control within an optical add-drop multiplexer. The input and control logic ̀0', ̀1' are represented by dark (D) and bright (B) soliton pulses, respectively. We found that the simultaneous optical logic NAND Gate at the through port can be performed. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, THz switching generation using a PANDA ring resonator for high speed computer communication(2012-11-12) ;Punthawanunt, Suphanchai ;Soysouvanh, Saysamone ;Luangxaysana, Khanthanou ;Mitatha, SomsakYoshida, MasahiroA novel design of Terahertz (THz) switching generation for high speed computer used is proposed. The dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) can be obtained by using a Gaussian or Soliton pluses propagating within a modified add-drop filter know as a PANDA ring resonator. The THz devices can made contributions to promising applications in high-speed switching, demultiplexing, and wavelength conversion of optical signals. Effective THz control is also essential for the potential application to ultrahigh-speed wireless digital interconnects for computer chips of the ultrahigh clock rates (> 10 GHz). In principle, the high density frequency (wavelength) can be generated and used to form the radio frequency identification (RFID), Ad-Hoc network and ubiquitous applications, moreover, the tiny device system is the another advantage, which can be constructed incorporating the available currently used system. In this paper is organized as follow: introduction, theory and the use of such a system in all proposed applications. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, High capacity frequency comb generated by a PANDA ring resonator(2012-10-02) ;Luangxaysana, Khanthanou ;Yoshida, Masahiro ;Komine, Noriyuki ;Phongsanam, PrapasMitatha, SomsakThis paper we propose a new system design for optical frequency comb generator (OFCG) using PANDA ring resonator over terahertz span. This scheme can be generated high capacity frequency comb signal tens to hundreds of frequencies by using a Dark-Bright soliton pulse driven, so that we can obtain high capacity comb signal at the through and drop port, respectively. Our system can tune the rate and pulse width by driving signal or the ring parameter. In application, the proposed scheme can be recognized as a simple flexible and more stable for apply in advance circuit system. © 2012 IEEE. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, High-capacity terahertz carrier generation using a modified add-drop filter for radio frequency identification(2012-08-01) ;Luangxaysana, Khanthanou ;Mitatha, Somsak ;Yoshida, Masahiro ;Komine, NoriyukiYupapin, PreechaA new technique of terahertz (THz) frequency carrier generation for multi-channel radio frequency identification (RFID) use is proposed. The dense wavelength division multiplexing signals can be obtained by using a Gaussian pulse propagating within a modified add-drop filter known as a PANDA ring resonator. The THz device system can be made contributions to the promising applications, especially in highspeed switching, demultiplexing, and wavelength conversion of optical signals, in which the effect of THz control is also required and essential for the potential application to ultra-high speed wireless digital interconnects for computer chips with ultra-high clock rates. In principle, the high-density frequency (wavelength) can be generated and used to form the RFID; moreover, the tiny device system is another advantage, which can be constructed to incorporate the currently used system. The results obtained have shown that higher density and increasing channel capacity can be obtained and are useful for the large demand for RFID applications. © 2012 Society of Photo-Optical Instrumentation Engineers (SPIE).
