Item type:Publication, A voltage-mode first order allpass filter based on VDTA(2014-01-01) ;Maneewan, Suwat ;Udorn, Nawee ;Duangmalai, Danupat ;Silapan, PhamornJaikla, WinaiThis article presents a new voltage-mode first order allpass filter (APF) employing voltage differencing transconductance amplifier (VDTA). The advantages of the circuit are that: the circuit description is very compact, consists of merely a VDTA and a capacitor: the phase shift can be electronically adjusted by current bias: it provides the lower THD of the output signal. Without any component matching conditions, the proposed circuit is very appropriate to further develop into an integrated circuit. Moreover, the proposed APF can provide the output current with high output impedance without modification of the circuit topology. The PSpice simulation results are depicted. The given results agree well with the theoretical anticipation. The maximum power consumption is 400μ W at ±1.25V power supplies. © 2014 Advances in electrical and electronic engineering. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, High input impedance mixed-mode biquad filter with orthogonal tune of natural frequency and quality factor(2014-01-01) ;Chumwangwapee, Kanokrat ;Jaikla, Winai ;Sunthonkanokpong, Wisuit ;Jaikhang, WipobhManeewan, SuwatThis paper deals with a single-input multiple-output mixed-mode second-order filter providing two voltage-mode functions (low-pass and band-pass) and three transconductance-mode functions (low-pass, band-pass and band-reject) based on voltage differencing transconductance amplifier (VDTA). The quality factor and pole frequency can be electronically and orthogonally tuned via the bias current. The proposed circuit uses two VDTAs and two grounded capacitors without any external resistors, which is suitable to further develop into an integrated circuit. Moreover, the circuit possesses high input impedance, providing easy cascading. The PSPICE simulation results are included, verifying the key characteristics of the proposed filter. The given results agree well with the theoretical presumptions. © 2014 IEEE. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Design of current-mode multiphase sinusoidal oscillators using CDCTA with independent control of CO and FO(2013-12-31) ;Tandee, Somsak ;Jaikla, Winai ;Suwanjan, Peerawut ;Siriphot, DavidManeewan, SuwatAn implementation of current-mode multiphase sinusoidal oscillators (MSOs) is presented. The odd and odd/even phase systems can be realised using current differencing cascaded transconductance amplifier (CDCTA)-based lossy integrators. The condition of oscillation and frequency of oscillation can be controlled electronically and independently through adjusting the current of the CDCTA. The high output impedances facilitate easy driving an external load without additional current buffers. The proposed MSOs provide odd or even phase signals that are equally spaced in phase and equal amplitude. The circuit requires one CDCTA and one grounded capacitor per phase without external resistor and additional current amplifier. The results of PSPICE simulations using BJT CDCTA are included to verify theory. © 2013 IEEE. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Single active element based electronically controllable grounded inductance simulator(2013-12-01) ;Siriphot, David ;Maneewan, SuwatJaikla, WinaiThis article presents grounded inductance simulator using single current controlled current follower transconductance amplifier (CCCFTA) as active element. The simulated inductance value can be controlled electronically by adjusting the bias current of the CCCFTA. The grounded inductance simulator comprises one CCCFTA and one grounded capacitor without any external resistors and component matching requirements. The circuit performances are depicted through PSpice simulations, they show good agreement to theoretical anticipation. An application as second-order low-pass filter is included to confirm the usability of proposed circuit. It is very suitable to realize the proposed filter in monolithic chip to use in biomedical signal processing. © 2013 IEEE. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Current-mode variable current gain first-order allpass filter employing CFTAs(2013-01-01) ;Iamarejin, Anirut ;Maneewan, Suwat ;Suwanjan, PeerawutJaikla, WinaiIn this study, a current-mode first order allpass filter using current follower transconductance amplifiers (CFTAs) is proposed. The features of the circuit are that: the pole frequency, phase response and current gain can be electronically controlled via the input bias current: the circuit description is very simple, consisting of 2 CFTAs, 1 resistor and 1 grounded capacitor, without any component matching requirements. Consequently, the proposed circuit is very appropriate to further develop into an integrated circuit. Low input and high output impedances of the proposed configuration enable the circuit to be cascaded in current-mode without additional current buffers. The PSpice simulation results are depicted. The given results agree well with the theoretical anticipation. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Simple quadrature sinusoidal oscillator with orthogonal control using sigle active element(2012-12-01) ;Pourak, Thanpong ;Suwanjan, Peerawut ;Jaikla, WinaiManeewan, SuwatThe voltage-mode quadrature sinusoidal oscillator using single voltage differencing tranconductance amplifier (VDTA) and grounded elements is presented. The proposed oscillator can provide 2 sinusoidal output voltages with 90° phase difference. The condition of oscillation (CO) and frequency of oscillation can be electronically/orthogonally controlled by adjusting the bias current of the VDTA. The use of only grounded elements is ideal for integration. The PSpice simulation results are depicted. The given results agree well with the theoretical anticipation. © 2012 IEEE. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, A MISO current-mode biquad filter using a minimum number of active and passive components(2012-12-01) ;Koomchaya, Atorn ;Suwanjan, Peerawut ;Jaikla, WinaiManeewan, SuwatThis paper presents the second-order current-mode filter with 4 input currents and single output current. Five filter responses, namely High-pass (HP), Low-pass (LP), Band-pass (BP), Band-reject (BR) and All-pass (AP) filters are achieved. The pole frequency and quality factor are tuned by input bias current called electronic control. It has high output impedance which is able cascading in the current-mode filter and driving load without buffering devices. The filter uses only single active element namely current controlled current differencing transconductance amplifier (CCCDTA) and 2 grounded capacitors which is ideal for monolithic integrated circuit implementation. The filter was proved by Pspice simulation using BJT technology. The results are agreed with theoretical prediction. © 2012 IEEE. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

The magnitude of the output signal is temperature-insensitive. The proposed circuit consists of only single CCCCTA. Without any matching conditions and external passive elements, the circuit is then appropriate for an IC architecture.
