Item type:Publication, The lump-ideal-component (LIC) switch micro signal concept for the conducted emission analysis(2002-01-01) ;Tantisukarom, C. ;Tarateeraseth, V. ;Khan-ngern, W.Nitta, S.In this paper, the Lump-Ideal-Component (LIC) switches concept is proposed. The micro level signal using conventional ideal on-off switch is not realized in the large or small signal analysis. With the proposed switch concept, the micro signal can be fundamentally derived at the switch. It leads to the possibility to form the dc-dc converter micro signal model of the conducted emission analysis using the proposed lump-ideal-component switches concept. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Conducted emission characteristic of active snubber boost converter(2001-12-01) ;Tantisukarom, C. ;Khan-ngern, W.Nitta, S.In this paper, the conducted emission characteristics of active snubber boost converter with proposed timing diagram are compared with the conventional boost converter. It is theoretically said that soft switching techniques can reduce the high switching dv/dt and di/dt rate, and as a result, it therefore could reduce EMI noise generated by hard switching. However, with increasing number of switching elements, major rate of change is still imposed on either switches, the effectiveness of soft switching technique from presented active snubber boost converter to mitigate conducted emission is considerably limited.
