Item type:Publication, Plug and Outlet in Household DC Low Voltage Micro-grid Power Distribution(2018-10-22) ;Pairindra, WorapongKhomfoi, SurinThe main idea of using a dc to dc plug and outlet with high efficiency for household appliances is proposed in this paper. A five-level, 300-W, 200-kHz diode-clamped multilevel technique with selective harmonic elimination is utilized as a power source with input from a 300-V DC link bus and output controlled at 48V. A contactless transformer with an air core and a ferromagnetic material core was chosen in this study for testing and evaluation. Electric shock elimination, galvanic isolation, and arc-free operation can be achieved with this scheme. Additionally, the design's low total harmonic distortion can reduce the size of the inductive power transformer core and increase the power density of the system. Moreover, an LLC series resonance technique with fundamental harmonic approximation (FHA) was designed and added to the rear side of the power converter to achieve the zero voltage switching condition. Finally, the outcome is illustrated by both MATLAB/Simulink and experimental results. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Development of a Cascaded Half-bridge Converter with Contactless Transformer in DC Microgrid(2016-01-01) ;Pairindra, WorapongKhomfoi, SurinA high efficiency cascaded half-bridge converter for contactless transformer with 1 A, 5 V and 600 kHz for mobile phone charger application is implemented in this paper by using simple PI discrete algorithm controller. The proposed target is to achieve the arch free, controllable voltage and galvanic isolation outlet and plug power transforming converter in a dc low voltage household power distribution. For the optimized outcome, the parameters are calculated and verified by MATLAB/Simulink program for bench testing. Additionally, this paper will be presented in both of the simulation and implementation results.
