Item type:Publication, Overlay fiber network based MNRs for P2P networks(2012-01-01) ;Polar, A. ;Bunruangses, M. ;Luangxaysanam, K. ;Mitatha, S.Yupapin, P. P.This paper propose a new design for a P2P overlay network over fiber optic communication that uses dense wavelength division multiplexing (E-DWDM) wavelength enhancement that can be used to generate the new optical communication bandwidths (wavelength bands) using a Gaussian pulse propagating within a MNRs, whereas the virtual P2P overlay networks are increased in channel capacity and signal security which can be provided. The increasing in number of channel can be obtained by increasing in the wavelength density, while the security is introduced by the specific wavelength filter, which is operated by the optical network and directly link with other nodes. The theoretical wavelength enhancement generation is reviewed. The advantage is that the proposed system can be implemented and used overlapping with the existed fiber optic communication link, where the privacy can be provided, which is discussed in details. © 2010 Published by Elsevier Ltd. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Simultaneous all-optical logic AND and OR gates using photonic circuits(2011-08-12) ;Phongsanam, P. ;Polar, A. ;Moongfangklanga, N. ;Mitatha, S.Yupapin, P. P.In this paper we have new designed a photonic circuit for all-optical logic AND and OR gates simultaneously using dark-bright soliton conversion. The input logic '0', '1' represents by dark (D), bright (B) soliton respectively and control logic '0' are formed by using the dark soliton pulse (D) trains. We found that the simultaneous optical logic AND and OR gates at the drop and through ports can be formed, respectively. © 2011 IEEE. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, New wavelength division multiplexing bands generated by using a Gaussian pulse in a microring resonator system(2009-12-01) ;Polar, A.; ;Mitatha, S. ;Bunyatnoparat, P.Yupapin, P. P.We propose a novel system that can be used to generate the new optical communication bandwidths (wavelength bands) using a Gaussian pulse propagating within a nonlinear microring resonator system. By using the wide range of the Gaussian input pulses, for instance, when the input pulses of the common lasers with center wavelengths from 400-1,400 nm are used. Results obtained have shown that more available wavelength bands from the different center wavelengths can be generated, which can be used to form new dense wavelength division multiplexing bands, whereas the use of the very high channel capacity for personal wavelength and network applications is plausible. ©2009 IEEE.
