    A circuit technique is proposed for detecting the peak amplitude of a sinusoidal signal using Pythagoras's law without requiring a simultaneous equal-amplitude quadrature signal. The number of four-quadrant multipliers required is only two.© 1979, The Institution of Electrical Engineers. All rights reserved.

    An easily integrable electronically variable phase shifter is proposed and experimentally demonstrated. The circuit operation is in the current mode, and it can be directly employed as a subsystem of monolithic circuit A temperature compensated biasing circuit has also been suggested. An easily integrable circuit principle is proposed and experimentally demonstrated for the syntheses of a large class of voltage-controlled non-linear resistances. The resulting non-linear resistances are floating, bipolar and require low bias currents. © Taylor and Francis Group, LLC.

    Easily integrable versions of accurate and linear negative-impedance converters have been experimentally demonstrated. The converted impedance can be directly coupled with very small external bias currents, and their terminals are truly floating. An Integrable Precision Voltage-to-Current Converter with Bilateral Capability
    (1978-01-01)
    Pookaiyaudom, S.
    ;
    Surakampontorn, W.
    A simple, integrable, unilateral or bilateral voltage-to-current converter is presented. Very linear and accurate conversions have been measured for voltage ranging from 0 to more than 10 V. The signal paths do not include any lateral p-n-p transistors, offering potentially wide-band applications. © 1978, IEEE. All rights reserved.
