Item type:Publication, Integrating Vis-SWNIR spectrometer in a conveyor system for in-line measurement of dry matter content and soluble solids content of durian pulp(2021-11-01); ;Sharma, Sneha; ;Leepaitoon, KritsanaphonChunsri, RashphonThe prediction of dry matter content (DMC) and soluble solids content (SSC) in durian pulp were performed using a small laboratory scale in-line visible and short wave near infrared (Vis-SWNIR) spectroscopic system. The fiber optic diode array spectrometer with a charged coupled device (CCD) detector in a wavelength range of 450−1000 nm was used for spectral data acquisition. The spectra of the sample were acquired on the moving conveyor belt in two different orientations, including scanning in the upright position of pulps collected in 2018 and the stable position by scanning on the side of the pulps collected in 2019. Partial least squares regression (PLSR) was used to establish the relationship between the spectra and observed DMC and SSC values using the different wavelength ranges, including 450−1000, 700−1000, and 800−1000 nm for the comparison. The results showed that the durian pulp should be scanned in the upright position at the center of the pulp. Moving average smoothing preprocessing combined with the standard normal variate (SNV) for DMC and multiple scatter correction (MSC) for SSC gave the best result. The suitable wavelength range for model development to predict the DMC and SSC was 700−1000 nm and 800−1000 nm, respectively. After comparing the results, the optimum model showed the coefficient of determination of calibration (R<inf>C</inf>2), and prediction (R<inf>P</inf>2), root mean square error of prediction (RMSEP), bias, and the ratio of performance to interquartile distance (RPIQ) of 0.88, 0.83, 4.32 %, 1.25 %, and 3.52 for DMC and 0.70, 0.70, 4.0 %, 0.4 %, and 2.2 for SSC prediction.1 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, An implementation of automatic container number recognition system(2018-05-30) ;Roeksukrungrueang, Chanathip ;Kusonthammrat, Theeradet ;Kunapronsujarit, Napasin ;Aruwong, Thiwat NunjThis paper presents a design and implementation of automatic container number recognition (ACNR) system for an oversea logistic purpose. Usually in import/export industry in Thailand, the container number which is used for logistic management and also customs duties is manually inspected and recorded by human at each gate of port. However, the manual operation by human causes of error and slow speed of operation from bottle neck, especially customs clearance verification process which customs officers and terminal operators must deal with containers individually as they enter and leave terminals via a gate. By these reasons, an automatic system is required. The cameras capture containers and by using image processing and optical characteristic recognition (OCR) techniques, a container number will be achieved and then customs clearance verification can be automatically checked via database system including other logistic management. The proposed ACNR system can reduce the bottle neck issue, enhance time utilization, accuracy rate, and data management efficiency. From an experiment, total samples of 218 containers are tested, the proposed system can give an accuracy rate of 95.41% with time utilization < 10 seconds per/container. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, A study and implementation of miniaturized satellite: CanSat for space activity enhancement(2016-08-01) ;Roeksukrungrueang, ChanathipTo build a satellite for countries with a modest research budget and little experience in space technology is very difficult. The concept of CanSat reach every country the opportunity to learn space technology of design, build, launch and operate a very small and simple satellite. This paper presents a CanSat which has been used to teach practical space engineering. The mission of our CanSat is to collect and transmit data from the sensors that are equipped in CanSat to ground station. But the problem of wireless communication is noise that make a lot of errors especially large data such as image. Therefore, channel coding, the extended Golay code, is applied to our CanSat for error correction. And with experienced from CanSat, we are ready to share CanSat education with space activity in our country. This is an excellent opportunity for students in Thailand to take their first steps practical in space technology. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Chaotic encoder-decoder on FPGA for crypto system(2014-02-12) ;Roeksukrungrueang, Chanathip ;Dittaphong, Xaysamone ;Khongsomboon, Khamphong ;Panyanouyong, NounchanAn implementation of chaotic encoder-decoder on FPGA will be proposed in this paper. Overflow non-linearity by using 2's complement number in digital filter causes the phenomenon called 'Chaos' in digital filter. An 1ER filter can be used to chaotic encoder while an FIR filter is used to chaotic decoder. Filter coefficients of both encoder and decoder can be compared to the secret key in private-key crypto system. However, if filter coefficients of chaotic decoder are not same as filter coefficients of chaotic encoder, ciphertext cannot decrypt to get original plaintext. Both chaotic encoder and decoder will be implemented on FPGA to demonstrate the hardware prototype of chaotic crypto system.1
