Item type:Publication, Synthesis of Zn0.96Al0.04O thermoelectric material for fabrication of thermoelectric module and thermoelectric generator(2018-01-01) ;Chanprateep, S.Ruttanapun, C.The main objective of this work is aim to synthesize Zn<inf>0.96</inf>Al<inf>0.04</inf>O thermoelectric materials for fabricating thermoelectric modules and inventing thermoelectric generator. The Zn<inf>0.96</inf>Al<inf>0.04</inf>O sample was prepared by a conventional solid state reaction method. The formation of structure was proved by X-ray diffraction and the thermoelectric properties were measured. The results presented that the Zn<inf>0.96</inf>Al<inf>0.04</inf>O displayed thermoelectric materials and showed the thermoelectric properties as higher than that of ZnO based. The Zn<inf>0.96</inf>Al<inf>0.04</inf>O thermoelectric modules displayed the electric power was increased with number of module, large temperature difference and operation at high temperature. The Zn<inf>0.96</inf>Al<inf>0.04</inf>O thermoelectric generator showed high performance for electric generator at high temperature. The sixteen Zn<inf>0.96</inf>Al<inf>0.04</inf>O legs thermoelectric generator can generate electric power 1.4 mW at 800 in ΔT = 600 C. Thus, the Zn<inf>0.96</inf>Al<inf>0.04</inf>O thermoelectric material can be used for application of thermoelectric generator at high temperature. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Improvement of Thermoelectric Material by Reduction Thermal Conductivity of Sn-doped CuFeO2 Delafossite Compound(2015-09-02) ;Hongaromkij, Y. ;Rudradawong, C. ;Wichainchai, A.Ruttanapun, C.In this work, the polycrystalline CuFe1-xSnxO2 (x = 0.005, 0.01, 0.03) were synthesized by a solid state reaction method with sintering temperature at 1323K for 40 hours. The XRD pattern and TGA results showed the crystal structure of hexagonal delafossite-type structure for space group (166). Thermal conductivity was decreased because the large atomic mass of the Sn substituted to the Fe sites of CuFeO2. This caused phonon scattering by the point defect of the mass difference between Sn atom and Fe atom. The minimal value of the thermal conductivity was 2.1 W/mK at 573K for Sn = 0.03. © 2015 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, The generation of optical phase conjugation from cerium doped barium titanate at wavelength of 632.8 nm(2013-09-18) ;Sidakum, K. ;Buranasiri, P. ;Plaipichit, S. ;Ruttanapun, C.Jindajithawat, P.In this paper, optical phase conjugate beam with the using of different resonator configurations has been investigate. Two types of SPPC resonators were selected to use, the first one is linear resonators formed by crystal surface and the other one is linear resonators formed by single mirror and a photorefractive crystal. In our experiment, cerium doped barium titanate crystal (BaTiO3: Ce) and He-Ne laser with wavelength of 632.8 nm have been used. From the results of both cases, the angle of the incident beams is optimum at 37.95° respect to the normal line of the surface that parallel to the c-axis of the crystal. The generating time of OPC beam are 150 seconds and 330 seconds for the first and second type resonators, respectively. The reflection ratios are equal to 8.75% and 5% for the first and second type resonators, respectively (the first type resonators could provide better reflection ratio). © 2013 SPIE. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Fingerprint verification by using low coherence digital holography(2013-09-18) ;Plaipichit, S. ;Atta, P. ;Buranasiri, P. ;Ruttanapun, C.Jindajitawat, P.In this paper, we have proposed the novel prototype of the portable fingerprint scanner. Using this method, the low coherence digital holography technique has been used to verify fingerprints. In our experiment, the Michelson's interferometer has been setup first for determining the coherence length of a laser diode with wave length of 635 nm. In our model, the light transmission and reflection properties of the glass slide have been applied. Then, the glass slide has been used as a beam splitter for separating the light to two beams, which are the reference beam and fingerprint image bearing beam. The results show fingerprint pattern, which are reconstructed with numerical method. © 2013 SPIE. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Efficient third-harmonic generation in one-dimensional photonic crystals(2013-09-18) ;Wicharn, S. ;Buranasiri, P. ;Ruttanapun, C.Jindajitawat, P.In this paper, we have solved nonlinear coupled-mode equations valid for light propagation in a one-dimensional photonic crystal by using numerical expression. Moreover, the medium in this problem has been considered as a nonlinear x <sup>(3)</sup> material. The numerical results have been used to calculate the conversion efficiency in nondepleted-pump limit. The results have been shown us that the maximum conversion efficiency of third-harmonic generation could be occurred when the fundamental field has been tuned near the lower band-edge of photonic band-gap that band-edge phase matched condition has been satisfied. © 2013 SPIE.
