Item type:Publication, Multi-Band Magnitude Complementary Crossover Network by Using Q-Bernstein Filter(2024-01-01) ;Sookcharoenphol, DolchaiJanchitrapongvej, KanokThis paper presents a multi-band magnitude complementary (MC) crossover network by using Q-Bernstein filter (QBF). The prototype low-pass filter is used the Q-Bernstein polynomial (QBP) to approximate a desired function. The QBF gives parameters which can be changing stop-band attenuation of the filter. The magnitude responses show that the filter gives high attenuation values in the stop-band of degree 2. The two-band MC crossover network can be realized by cascading an all-pass filter and a constant voltage of degree 1, which sums up to the all-pass filter (APF) of degree 2. The multiple-bands crossover network can be realized by cascading two identical all-pass filter stages of degree 2. The simulation results show that the proposed crossover network has a constant summed magnitude response and also an in-phase response over an audio band.1 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, New Adjustable Non-linear Characteristic Approximated by Bernstein Polynomial for Guitar Effect(2018-08-21) ;Palakvangsa, Sarunyoo ;Sookcharoenphol, DolchaiThis paper presents approximating non-linear behavior of distortion guitar effect such as Fuzz and Overdrive by Bernstein polynomial with low orders in the form of electrical signal. The Bernstein method can be adjusted parameters by manual, in order to designing a new sound of distortion effect. The method was confirmed effectively by a ratio of harmonics. Original effects were generated by electronic circuit, which couldn't be adjusted. In the other hand, Bernstein can be identified a dominant feature sound and developed on other devices such as software or application not the same as distortion effect circuit.1 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Item type:Publication, New flat pass-band of low-pass responses with varying attenuation in stop-band(2017-11-24) ;Sookcharoenphol, Dolchai; Janchitrapongvej, KanokThis paper presents an approximation of low-pass filter responses with adjustable stop-band attenuation in order to designing a high quality filter. The filter is based on QBernstein polynomial, which can be adjusted attenuation in stop-band by varying three parameters of the transfer function. A coarse attenuation in stop-band is provided by adjusting two parameters (epsilon and alpha) and a fine attenuation step is determined by Q parameters. The results of simulation were shown the filter, given attenuation in stop-band better than conventional filter at a second-order. Moreover, this paper proposes the filter which provides both flat magnitude and group delay characteristics in the pass-band. Therefore, it can useful for the high quality filter network as an audio crossover network. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, New crossover network based on q-bernstein polynomial(2016-01-01) ;Sookcharoenphol, Dolchai ;Nomura, Hideyuki ;Kanamori, Chisato ;Aoyama, HisayukiJanjitrapongvej, KanokThis paper presents a new audio crossover network based on q-Bernstein polynomial which can be adjustable attenuation in stop-band by varying parameters of the transfer function. The crossover network gives an in-phase response and a flat summed of magnitude response of each filter through audio frequency band. The simulation results shown that the crossover network given high attenuation in stop-band which better than conventional crossover network at second-order and fourth-order. Moreover, the crossover network structure can be reduced complexity by based on subtractive circuits. Therefore, the proposed crossover network provided a high quality crossover network and can useful for professional reproduction sound systems.1
