Quantum key generated by using a fiber optic Mach Zehnder interferometer incorporating a fiber optic ring resonator is proposed. The generated quantum key is distributed via an optical wireless link system, which is available for the free space link. The random quantum bits can be formed and used as the secret codes in quantum communication system. By adding an ancillary photon after the signal photon within the correlation time of the fiber noise and by performing quantum parity checking, the high fidelity to the noiseless quantum in free space is achieved by the technique known as the quantum error correction. © 2010 Elsevier GmbH. We propose a novel system of an optical/quantum memory generation, which can be used for multi-optical/quantum memory applications. The large bandwidth of a single pulse is generated using a soliton pulse in a Kerr-type nonlinear medium, i.e. a nonlinear waveguide. The generation of the localized temporal and spatial soliton pulses within the nano-waveguide is achieved. The free spectrum range enhancement of the generated multi-soliton signals can be formed and achieved using the nano-waveguide incorporating the Mach Zhender Interferometer (MZI). The different light path of the soliton pulses is introduced by the delayed lines of the interferometer. This improves the wavelength free spectrum range, where the different entangled photon pairs can also obtained. Furthermore, the generated photons can be filtered and stored within a system, where the storage of single or multi-photons using the proposed system can be achieved, which in turn can be used for multi-optical/quantum memory applications. © 2009 Elsevier GmbH. We propose an interesting scheme on photon states generation using a fiber optic Mach Zehnder interferometer incorporating a fiber optic ring resonator without any optical pumping parts including in the system, which is available for long-distance link. In principle, the state of a quantum bit, it is known, unknown, or entangled to other systems. The desired quantum states are generated and transmitted in the link via a fiber optic. The transmission quality in terms of quantum fidelity is analyzed, where a high fidelity to the noiseless quantum channel is achieved by adding an ancillary photon after the signal photon within the correlation time of the fiber noise and by performing the quantum parity checking method. The error correction is also analyzed. For simplicity, feature and robustness against path-length mismatches among the nodes make our scheme suitable for multi-user quantum communication networks. © 2009 Elsevier GmbH. We propose a new system of quantum bits generation using a soliton pulse within a micro ring resonator. A quantum gate can be formed using a polarization control unit incorporating into the system. The random signal and idler pairs can be formed within the photon correlation bandwidth, which can be generated and randomly formed the packet quantum bits, i.e. quantum packet codes. Each random code (logic) can be performed by combining the signal and idler of each entangled photon pair via the quantum gate. Results obtained have shown that the packet of quantum logic bits can be generated using the entangled photon pairs generated by the proposed system. The quantum bits transmission fidelity and error corrections are also described. © 2009 Elsevier GmbH. All rights reserved.

We propose a remarkably simple system of a continuous variable quantum key distribution using chaotic signals generated by a soliton pulse within a nonlinear micro-ring resonator system. By using the appropriate soliton input power and micro-ring parameters, continuous signals are generated spreading over the spectrum. Polarized photons are formed incorporating the polarization control unit into the micro-ring system, which allows different time slot entangled photons to be randomly formed. Two different frequency bands for up-down-link converters can be selected (filtered) and performed, which is available for the simultaneous up-down-link application in the telephone networks. Results obtained have shown that the application of such a system for continuous variable quantum cryptography via optical-wireless up-down-link converters within a single system is plausible. © 2009 Elsevier GmbH. We propose a new system of quantum signal and parallel processing using Gaussian pulses propagating within a nonlinear ring resonator system. To increase the channel capacity and security, the multiplexer is operated incorporating a quantum processing unit via an optical multiplexer. The transmitted part can be used to generate the high capacity packet of quantum codes within the series of micro ring resonators. The received part can be used to detect the quantum bits (qubits) via the optical link, which can be obtained via the end quantum processor. The reference states can be recognized by using the cloning unit, which is operated by the add/drop filter. Two add-drops that are in two parts can be used to be Alice and Bob, respectively, in quantum communication. Results obtained have shown that the multiplexed wavelengths can be formed by using the multiple operating systems, which is allowed the filtering at the end users (Bob). In application, the embedded system within the computer processing unit is available for quantum computer. Furthermore, such a concept is also available for hybrid communications, for instance, wire/wireless, satellite, which will be discussed in details.

We propose a new system of quantum key distribution via optical wireless communication links, where the required information, especially telephone conversation, can be secured by using a quantum code/decode (CODEC) technique incorporated in the networks. The entangled photons can be encoded into the classical information and then the decoded signal can also be retrieved. The proposed system consists of quantum key generation and uplink and downlink parts that can be implemented in the mobile telephone handset and networks. Such a system and technique show the feasibility of use for a perfectly security telephone networks. © 2007 Society of Photo-Optical Instrumentation Engineers.

A new technique of an entangled photon pair generation using an all fiber optic scheme is presented. The proposed system is consisted of a fiber optic Mach-Zehnder Interferometer (MZI) incorporating with a fiber optic ring resonator. The Kerr nonlinearity effect in the fiber ring resonator is exploited for the generation of two independent squeezed beams. The advantage of such a system is that it requires a simple arrangement without any optical pumping part and bulky optical components. Polarized light pulse trains are launched randomly into a MZI which one part of them is delayed in the longer path. The output pulses from both arms of the MZI are entered into a nonlinear fiber optic ring resonator. Where the superpositions of light pulses in a nonlinear fiber optics ring resonator are randomly occurred which is formed the entangled photon pairs. A polarization controller controls polarization states of light pulses while circulating in the ring resonator. The entangled photons are seen on the avalanche photo-detector, which is shown in good agreement with the previous works. © 2007 IEEE.

The data encryption/decryption is employed to secure the transported data that is now become very importance issue for communication and networks. However, the general encryption is not absolute secure of the required information. The absolute security technique is known as quantum security where the principle of the technique is that the required data is encrypted/decrypted by quantum transported channel. The transported signals are randomly coded/decoded by using the quantum entanglement pairs. The quantum entangle is created by using a single pulse i.e. single photon that occupies the random polarization states, where the required polarization states can be formed be sender and receiver at any time linking by quantum channel. In this paper, the single pulse is created by a CW laser diode that is launched into the classical Mach-Zehnder Interferometer. The single pulse is generated and detected when a light beam is modulated by signal from signal generator with suitable driven frequency on a LiNbO<inf>3</inf> crystal. Then the entanglement signals can be realized and transmitted via classical optical system. The quantum dense coding can also be performed by the technique of dense wavelength division multiplexing technique, where each of transmitted wavelengths can be randomly formed entanglement pairs, then the dense code/decode schemes can be employed and linked via cable or wireless transmission.
