Item type:Publication, Wireless Carbon Monoxide Level Control and Monitoring System(2025-01-01) ;Rerkratn, Apinai ;Riewruja, Vanchai ;Petchmaneelumka, WandeeTammaruckwattana, SirichaiThis paper proposes an online carbon monoxide control and monitoring system. The proposed system comprises an MQ-7 CO gas sensor module, a DHT11 digital temperature and humidity sensor module, an ESP8266 module, and a Relay Module. The ThingSpeak platform is used to create HMI for online monitoring of CO level, temperature, humidity, and status of the ventilation fan. This proposed system can measure CO and monitor all parameters of measurement data, alert users when CO values exceed the set value. In addition, the measured CO values are used to control the ventilation system operation (ON or OFF) to maintain the CO at a non-harmful level. The experiment testing and results with three conditions show that the proposed system can measure and monitor CO level, temperature, and humidity online with satisfying values. The ventilation fan can operate with function as a design procedure and maintain CO at a non-harmful level. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Application of 3D Printer to Create Pet Casts(2025-01-01) ;Phaisalpanumas, Pipat ;Monkaew, Nattasit ;Chutikan, Damisara ;Khemavuk, PrempornTammarugwattana, NarinThis paper presents the application of 3D printer to create pet casts. The problem of injuries from falls or symptoms related to bone injuries are symptoms that veterinarians diagnose as potentially treatable by external splinting to allow the bones to fully fuse. Differences in physiology are limitations in splinting and structuring the splint. This research introduces 3D printing technology to help the creation of splints for pets to increase treatment options using innovations or concepts. Study the current state of external splinting treatment methods for pets and design the research method was started by scanning organs to be splinted with a 3D scanner. The 3D images are then used to creat a model for splinting by designing with the Sintratec 3D modeling computer program. Then create the splints by burning plastic powder crystals to harden with a 3D printer and clean the surfaces by sandblasting and polishing. The materials used to create the splints in this study are two types of engineering materials: polyamide12 (PA12), suitable for creating hard splints, and thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), suitable for creating soft splints. Both materials have good mechanical properties and are strong impact resistance, chemical resistance, and high heat resistance. The finished splint pieces can be easily split to the pet model, reducing the steps compared to the normal splints, resulting in a shorter splint time, depending on the location or organs the splints are placed, and reducing the pet stress caused by being restrained during splinting. This research presents the introduction of technology and its advantages to help increase treatment options for pet injuries, which is beneficial to pets and pet owners, and helps veterinarians provide appropriate treatment. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Prototype of Chipping and Briquetting Machine for Eucalyptus Wood Processing(2025-01-01) ;Phaisalpanumas, Pipat ;Namboot, Nattarat ;Chutikan, Damisara ;Usadornsak, ChartchaiTantitippawan, NaritsakThis paper presents eucalyptus, versatile plants that can grow well in almost every area of Thailand. In the future, the demand for eucalyptus wood tends to increase both domestically and internationally because eucalyptus wood has become a major raw material in various industries and is also an important source of energy in terms of biomass fuel production. The research team has designed and built a eucalyptus woodchipper and pelletizer prototype. The machine has a width of $1,300 \text{mm}$, a length of 800 mm, and a height of 900 mm. Inside the machine, there are log conveying systems, a shredder, and a pelletizing system. The shredder uses a 2.2 kW gear motor for shredding logs and a set of 23 blades. The conveying system consists of 4 upper and lower conveyors and uses a 0.2 kW gear motor. The speed is controlled by an inverter. The pelletizing system uses a hydraulic system for compression, which has a hydraulic pump motor as the source of pressure. In the prototype pelletizing and baling test, the optimum speed of the conveying machine was set at 5 rpm, the chopping speed at 320 rpm and the baling pressure at 220 $\text{kg} / \text{cm} 2$. The processing of eucalyptus into the form of wood chips reduces the volume of eucalyptus by 46 percent, allowing more logs to be transported at a time and significantly reducing transportation costs. In addition, the creation of new products from eucalyptus processing will help generate more income for eucalyptus farmers than just cutting and selling eucalyptus. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Item type:Publication, Resistive-Sensor Interfacing Circuit for Remote Measurement Using CFOA(2024-01-01) ;Petchmaneelumka, Wandee ;Rerkratn, Apinai ;Tammaruckwattana, SirichaiKaewpoonsuk, AnuchaAn alternative approach to implementing an interfacing circuit for resistive sensor-based remote measurement is presented. The proposed technique uses a Current Feedback Operational Amplifier (CFOA) as an active building block to produce an output voltage linearly related to the resistance of the sensor. Moreover, the accuracy of the output voltage is improved by the enhancement of CFOA. In addition, the proposed circuit provides compensation for the effects of lead-wire resistance. The performance of the proposed technique is discussed in detail and confirmed by PSPICE program simulation and experimental implementation. The resistance decade box is used in the experiment. The maximum error on the output voltage of the experimental results is about 0.4234 %. The experimental results show that the proposed technique provides good performance. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Emulation Technique for Wind Turbines Using Servo Motor and Induction Motor(2024-01-01) ;Tammaruckwattana, Sirichai ;Taecharoenwiriyakun, Suriya ;Suppaadirek, NatchanonTammarugwattana, NarinThis paper proposes the emulation technique for wind turbines using two types of motor, servo motor, and induction motor. The focus is on simulating the work process of wind turbines at multi-wind velocity to test the capacity and efficiency of generating three-phase electricity. The wind turbine emulator was created by using a program and mechanical parts. The goal of this emulator is to check the efficiency of wind turbine blades at different wind speeds and to test the accuracy of the simulation method by using a different motor. The first emulator uses a 400-Watt synchronous generator from a wind turbine connected to a 400-Watt servo motor controlled by a servo amplifier. The second emulator uses a 400-Watt synchronous generator from a similar wind turbine connected to a 400-watt induction motor installed with an encoder controlled by an inverter. Motor torque is calculated by using mathematic equations from the LabVIEW program, and the data of the wind turbine blade is simulated by using the ANSYS program. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Experimental Verification of Wind Power Generation System Using Diode Bridge Rectifier Circuit with Wind Turbine Simulator(2022-01-01) ;Tammaruckwattana, Sirichai ;Reangkittakarn, Sitthaphat ;Suppaadirek, NatchanonOhyama, Kazuhiro– This paper presents Wind Power Generation System using Diode Bridge Rectifier (WPGS-DBR method). Experimental results have been obtained by Wind Turbine Simulator (WTS). The WTS emulates wind turbine behavior using a servo motor as a drive system. Mechanical torque references used to drive the motor are calculated using wind turbine data such as wing blade, wind velocity, and wind turbine rotation speed. DBR method has three-mode control for three ranges of wind speed: low, medium, and high, respectively. In low and medium mode, the control system adjusts the armature current of a generator and DC link voltage with a Vector-Controlled Inverter (VCI) to control wind turbine speed. In high mode, the control system modulates the pitch angle of the wind turbine using a pitch angle control system for controlling wind turbine rotational speed. The DBR simplifies the maintenance of WPGS while improving reliability. In addition, the DBR method costs less compared with the WPGS using a PWM converter. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Wind Tunnel Model for Natural Wind Velocity(2020-10-25) ;Taecharoenwiriyakun, Suriya ;Suppaadirek, NatchanonTammaruckwattana, SirichaiAt the present time, the demand for energy in Thailand is increasing rapidly. Therefore, improving production efficiency is important in solving energy problems. According to the Alternative Energy and Alternative Energy Development Plan 2015-2036 in Thailand, the objectivity for wind power generation has increased dramatically. For this reason, the research team had the idea to create a wind tunnel with adjustable wind speed to mimic local wind speed in Thailand to be used in designing and analyzing wind turbine blade designs to suit various wind speeds. This can increase the efficiency of the production of energy even more. Wind speed adjustment or the pressure, lift and rotation speed measured can be done by a computer. By applying the PID control theory, it can precisely control the wind speed. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
