Item type:Publication, Development of soil moisture monitoring by using IoT and UAV-SC for smart farming application(2020-07-01) ;Duangsuwan, Sarun ;Teekapakvisit, ChakreeMaw, Myo MyintSoil moisture is a fundamental factor for smart farming that is used to control the water management system. In this paper, the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) small cell (UAV-SC) can provide Internet of things (IoT) as the hotspot mobility network, due to the minimum limitation energy of connected IoT. The development of ground sensor (GS) communicates to the UAV-SC called GS-UAV-SC model for soil moisture monitoring is proposed to smart farming. UAV-SC aims to fulfill the data collection task with a limitation of GSs power. In the experiment, the two case scenarios: Napier grass farm and Ruzi grass farm are implemented. The result of soil moisture status is demonstrated as an example of data in real time on a mobile application monitoring system. The proposed system is useful for users/farmers to know the soil moisture data quickly for smart farming applications. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, High performance detection using three different weight blind algorithms in ZF receiver for uplink multi-user massive MIMO in 5G wireless communications(2018-09-01) ;Duangsuwan, SarunTeekapakvisit, ChakreeA novel of an uplink multi-user massive Multi-Input Multi-Output (MIMO) in 5G wireless communication that is an increasing efficiency of massive MIMO detection, in order to support a very high speed Giga-Wireless (GiWi). One of the most focused on the Zero-Forcing (ZF) receiver, but due to it has no optimal. In this paper, we present blind algorithms to optimize the performance of ZF because of their low complexity. The three different weight blind algorithms are various proposed by using the Conventional Constant Modulus (CCM), Supervised Constant Modulus (SCM), and the Variable Step Size Constant Modulus (VSSCM). The performance results show as a channel response, Mean Square Error (MSE), and Bit Error Rate (BER) is discussed. It can be shown that the proposed blind algorithms can optimal efficiency of ZF receiver under an assumption of no required CSI. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Performance Comparison of OFDM-QAM and FBMC-QAM Filtered in Multi-User Massive MIMO Channel Characterization(2018-07-02) ;Teekapakvisit, ChakreeDuangsuwan, SarunThe current 4G standard or long-term evolution (LTE) system is based on the use of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing-quadrature amplitude modulation (OFDM-QAM) for the downlink and uplink communications. OFDM is an orthogonal block transmission scheme which, in the presence of multi-path fading channels, plain orthogonal multicarrier modulation formats are not able to maintain orthogonality due to inter-symbol interference (ISI) among consecutive multicarrier symbols. A new modulation format is a filter bank multicarrier (FBMC). In this paper, we compare a performance of OFDM-QAM and FBMC-QAM to filter the ISI problem at the receiver. We evaluate the performance under the assumption of multiuser massive MIMO channel as a simplicity. The experimental results are depicted with eye-diagrams and the performance of bit error rates (BERs). As the result, the FBMC-QAM is a potential successor of the dominant OFDM-QAM where BER is acceptable with no ISI and it is definitely a promising modulation to use in 5G signal processing.
