This paper presents the improvement of Renz' s active band-pass filter. We proposed two types of band-pass filter. The first type of filter circuit structure, resembles to Renz's band-pass filter. The circuit comprising a single gain amplifier and three uniformly distributed RC network (URC). The second type band-pass filter circuit configuration consists of a gain amplifier with one URC and a double capacitive layer (DURC). From the experimental results, it is showed that the behavior of the proposed band-pass filter gives good narrow bandwidth, high Q and low sensitivities compared to the Renz's filter.

    Wachirarattanapornkul, Sorapong
This paper presents the construction of a passive uniformly distributed RC (hereafter as URC) device based-on NMOS transistor-only circuits with low phase shift characteristics and high-frequency support similar to the URC. The advantage of the proposed circuit has the variable the resistance-capacitance (RC) or time-constant () of the URC by the voltage control (VC). It to be used in selective-frequency cut-off on better than the normal passive URC, which can't be adjusted. In addition, the proposed circuit uses only a single voltage source to operate at only 2.5 V, resulting in low power consumption. The simulate by PSPICE simulation program was used on TSMC 0.25 um CMOS Technology compared with the passive lump URC to confirm the research results. And simulation results when made the proposed circuit into the low-pass filter and the high-pass filter circuit can be selective-frequency cut-off ranges at 40 kHz-1.6 GHz and 180 kHz-350 MHz by respective.

The voltage-mode TITO biquadratic filter based on CCDCVC and URC
    (2019-07-07)
    Wachirarattanapornkul, Sorapong
This paper presents the biquadratic filter with three input and two outputs (TITO) based on the current-controlled differential currentvoltage conveyor (CCDCVC) and uniformly distributed RC (URC) in the voltage-mode. The proposed circuit requires only two CCDCVC, one URC and one double capacitive layers uniformly distributed RC (DURC). This circuit has a functional filter to four types at first output and three type filters at the second output, and the characteristic insensitivities have low. We using the PSPICE simulation program to confirm the theoretical in this work.

This article presents the design of an active crossover network using double capacitive uniformly distributed RC filter (DURC). The proposed circuit includes the active DURC-based low-pass filter circuit together with the active high-pass filter circuit. The advantage property of this crossover network has flat magnitude response of crossover network signal and small phase difference. The proposed network also has low active and passive sensitivities. The simulation results by MATLAB and PSPICE in terms of the magnitude response, phase response, sensitivity and stability are approved the theoretical predictions.

This article presents a new voltage-mode with triple-input single-output universal biquad filter using double capacitive layers uniformly distributed RC lines (DURCs) and a second-generation current-controlled current conveyors (CCCIIs). The proposed universal biquad filter has possesses three inputs and single output for generate four filter types as low-pass filter (LPF), high-pass filter (HPF), band-pass filter (BPF) and notch filter (NF) in voltage responses, employs the minimum active and passive components and also provides low active and passive sensitivities at frequency cutoff in all realize filter. The property of the proposed circuit is simulation using PSPICE to verify the theory.

This article presents a voltage mode sinusoidal oscillator using uniformly distributed RC line (URC) and voltage gain amplifier as active elements. The outputs of sinusoidal waveform with 0° from the configuration. The oscillation condition and oscillation frequency (ω<inf>0</inf>) of the proposed oscillator circuit are tunable by the amplifier gain (K) and the resistance ratio (β). The simulation results by MATLAB and PSPICE are good agreement with the theoretical analysis and also show that very low harmonic distortion is obtained. The proposed circuit is suitable for fabricating in LSI technology. © 2014 IEEE.

On design of active notch tunable filter using multilayer uniformly distributed RC line
    (2009-12-01)
    Wachirarattanapornkul, Sorapong
This paper to design a novel technique for notch filter by using multilayer uniformly distributed RC line (MURC) with three capacitive layers is presented. The proposed circuit configuration consists of one notch characteristics circuit using MURC, one capacitor (Co) and a single gain amplifier. α<inf>1</inf>, α<inf>2</inf>, β and K parameters of the circuits are used to improve the magnitude response with notch tunable frequency. This structure reduces an amount of circuit complexity and is simple to use for applications. The experimental results and computer simulation showed good agreement with theoretical values and sensitivities are also carried out. ©2009 IEEE.
