Item type:Publication, Development of Project-Based Learning (PBL) in Cloud Education Model to Enhance the Application Ability and Computational Thinking for Undergraduate Students(2023-01-01) ;Tang, Shi ;Ratana-Olarn, ThaninPetsangsri, SiriratThis research investigated the Development of Project-Based Learning (PBL) in Cloud Education Model to Enhance the Application Ability and Computational Thinking Undergraduate Students with the core objectives, to study the needs of students and teachers towards the teaching approach based on Project-Based Learning (PBL) in Cloud Education in Word Software Application, to design Project-Based Learning (PBL) in Cloud Education model 3, and to compare Word Software Application ability and computational thinking between students who learn in Project-Based Learning (PBL) in Cloud Education model and students who learn in Traditional Teaching Method. Qualitative and Quantitative both methods were used in the current study. As the research population, from a pool of 165 students, a total of 100 students majoring in accounting from the 2022 cohort of Nanning University was randomly selected along with five lecturers from the "College Computer Foundation" course. Questionnaire was used for collecting data from students while a focus group interview was adopted for collecting in-depth data from focus group teachers. The result of study brought to surface that students expect a classroom atmosphere with higher participation, more active classroom, and stronger interactivity thereby promoting course learning and achieving course goals. The revised teaching model emphasizes active learning, practical application, and the cultivation of computational thinking, aiming to provide a richer and more effective educational experience. The revision process involves multiple steps such as project design, group task allocation, plan formulation, exploration and cooperation, work production, achievement exchange, summary and evaluation, and the use of cloud education platforms to support teaching and learning activities. This process fully reflects the importance of continuously optimizing and improving educational models to adapt to the constantly changing learning environment and needs. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Effect of Blended Learning with Peer Assessment on Violin Performance of Undergraduate Students(2023-01-01) ;Tan, YuqiPetsangsri, SiriratThis research explored the potential and efficacy of integrating blended learning with peer assessment model in violin instruction for undergraduate students. Utilizing a blended learning with peer assessmen mod el approach, the study sought to (1) understand the needs and perspectives of both teachers and students regarding this innovative teaching model; (2) develop and implement blended learning with a peer assessment model; (3) evaluate its impact on students' violin performance skills and learning attitudes; and (4) gauge students' satisfaction with this pedagogical approach. The study encompassed 40 violin students from a university, divided into one control group and two experimental groups. Over eight weeks, the students' experiences and outcomes were closely monitored. The findings compellingly indicate that the combined approach of blended learning with peer assessment model accelerates students' skill acquisition and mastery, engenders a more positive learning attitude, and increases student satisfaction. While traditional instructional methods maintain their foundational value, amalgamating blended learning with peer assessment model presents a potent strategy in contemporary music teaching. The research concludes by advocating for institutions and educators to integrate this model, emphasizing its contribution to the ever-evolving discourse on digital-age music education. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Confirmatory factor analysis of the essential digital competencies for undergraduate students in thai higher education institutions(2019-01-01) ;Suwanroj, Thamasan ;Leekitchwatana, PunneePimdee, PaitoonThe purpose of this descriptive study was to apply 2<sup>nd</sup> order confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and structural relationship models to identify the digital competency components essential to undergraduate students in Thai higher education institutions. The sample comprised 1,126 specialists in Information Technology, Computer Technology, Computer Education, Computer Science, and Computer Engineering working in public higher education instructions throughout the country. The selection was the result of multi-stage random sampling from 76 public higher education instructions that offer undergraduate education. The instrument was a questionnaire form on essential digital competency components for undergraduate students in higher education institutions. The question items employed a 7-point Likert scale and showed Cronbach's alpha values for the content validity and reliability at a range of.93-.97 per domain and .87-.99 per component. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics for general data and 2<sup>nd</sup> Order CFA analysis. The findings revealed that from 24 observed variables, there were 7 competency components.: 1) Fundamental of digital; 2) Accessing digital information; 3) Using digital information; 4) Creating digital information and media; 5) Communicating digital information; 6) Managing digital information; and 7) Evaluating digital information. The discovery from this study was substantially constructive for Thai higher education institutions as it could be used to design an essential digital competency framework of the 21st century. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Analysis of Fake News and the Level of Cognitive Perception of Undergraduate Students in the University in Thailand(2019-01-01)Viriyavejakul, ChantanaThe purpose of this study aimed to study the relationship between fake news and the cognitive perception of online sources of Thai public. With intensified use in a world of IT devices, more knowledge is available. The Thai trait of belief in all printed or published media must be changed for fake news to be discerned by users. A survey was made by 500 online questionnaires found that much news on social media outlets was a scam, incite feelings against or for a group of people. In Thailand, the general person easily believes in media platform because they are written, and supported by pictures and testimonial information. Fake news was used (1) online items and trusted as things printed are true (2) people express good or bad feelings for a public person, Thai people must for educated form early to doubt.
