This research presents an image cryptography communication system based on a novel 3D high-complex chaotic system. The chaotic system is implemented by field programmable analog array (FPAA), which is a conveniently reconfigurable system. The image cryptography communication system is realized using low-cost microcontrollers and commercially available devices. The proposed chaotic system based on the jerk model incorporated two different nonlinear functions that can generate single-scroll, double-scroll, three-scroll, four-scroll, and six-scroll attractors by adjusting only one coefficient. The fundamental dynamical properties of the proposed system are investigated, viz., equilibria and stability, dissipative, phase portraits, bifurcation, and Lyapunov exponent, etc. The four-scroll attractor of the proposed system is applied in image encryption. The multi-scroll attractor’s characteristic in this work can achieve relatively high complexity, with a high Kaplan–Yorke dimension of up to 2.45. The performances of the multi-scroll chaotic using FPAAs are proven by comparing the experimental and numerical results. The image cryptography communication system based on the chaotic masking method (CM) has been tested around 1 × 107 bits under 9600 bps. The measuring signals of the image cryptography communication system are demonstrated in different scenarios. The experimental results can be ensured that mismatched parameters give the complete cipher image if and only if the bit error rate is more significant than 490,000 × 10–6.

Exploring consumer attitudes: Organic herb cordyceps and intention to purchase
    (2023-09-01)
    Patthirasinsiri, Natphasuth
Cordyceps are a form of herb that is nurtured and propagated utilizing organic farming techniques. This study investigated consumers’ intention towards adopting the organic herb cordyceps, also referred to as “Thungchao” in Thai language. The research was driven by increased health awareness among people, and skewness towards use of organic as compared to conventional medica-tion. In Thailand, the herb has been consumed traditionally for years, because of its medical ben-efits. The Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) was applied to investigate the outcomes of users’ perceptions (perceived experience with organic product, perceived health benefit, information awareness) and TPB aspects (subjective norm, perceived behavioral control, attitude towards organic herb) to examine intentions of consumers’ towards adopting codyceps. The research collected primary data from 452 Thai respondents. Collected data were evaluated utilizing Structural Equation Modeling analysis. Results revealed that for the perceived customers’ experience, intention to use organic herb cordyceps was positively and significantly influenced by perceived experience with organic hers and information awareness. All the TPB variables – subjective norm, perceived behavior control, and attitude towards organic herbs – significantly and positively influence consumers’ intention towards organic herb cordyceps. The research recommended that organic herb cordyceps “Thungchao” has many medical benefits, and its consumption should be encouraged. Information awareness and sharing of the knowledge of the herb’s medical require-ment and benefits, resources and dosage are necessary to encourage or rather influence consumers intention.

In Thailand, equipping local youth guides with English communication skills plays a crucial role in promoting tourist destinations. Tourism has been growing worldwide in the last decade, and the need for fluency in the English language among tourist guides to attract tourism is increasing sharply. The main aim of this study is to focus on the English communication needs and problems in speaking and listening skills for tourism promotion. The study is a descriptive survey on English communication needs and problems encountered by 250 local youth guides in promoting tourism. The survey was conducted at five local tourist destinations in Pathio district in Chumphon Province, southern Thailand. The data were evaluated using the statistical package SPSS (26.0), after the questionnaire was completed, and the statistics used for data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The need for local youth guides to talk and provide knowledge about tourism destinations in English was gauged. The findings revealed that speaking and listening skills are the most critical communication skills at visitor meetings and the most valuable skills in interactions with tourists. This result was also consistent with youths’ and stakeholders’ assessments of English as a language for providing general information, providing services, and offering assistance, thereby fostering interest among the youth in learning English.

Knowledge management on indigenous farmers of serrated mud crab fattening in the mangrove forest of La-ngu, Thailand was in actual practice via activities of earning a living and daily life. There is a transfer of knowledge and dissemination among the people of the community on the basis of an agricultural society that is self-reliant. The process of local wisdom management consists of 6 steps: 1) the occurrence of problems or curiosity; 2) finding a guideline for solving the problems and increasing knowledge; 3) practice in the real situation; 4) an analysis of practice outcomes; 5) recapitulation of the body of knowledge; and 6) body of knowledge application and transfer.

The purpose of this project is to develop Parents and Teachers Communication (PTC) application for early childhood. An application development process has three phases. The first phase is application design phase: the questionnaire had been used to investigate the main requirements from the users (teachers and parents). The application’s function comparison was another method which had been applied in design phase. Five school communication applications had been compared to find for strong features in each application. Human factors engineering was used for designing PTC application’s user interfaces in order to understand user capabilities and limitations. The second phase was application coding phase: PTC application was developed under IOS operation system by using the X-CODE program. The third phase was application usability study phase: in this phase, the usability study test was measured in two steps. First, the System Usability Scale (SUS) was distributed to 10 volunteers during application development. Second, another usability test was done by an adopted SUS questionnaire. It was distributed to 6 volunteers after they had experience with PTC application about two week period. Results showed that PTC application had high usability scale during application development (SUS, 85) and after four weeks experience (adopted SUS, 80). SUS during application development showed that PTC application was in excellent usability scale. The adopted SUS questionnaire can be interpreted that users have a great experience with PTC application. Parent-Teacher communication application for early childhood could assist to decrease cap of communication between home and school efficiently.

Visionary leadership is defined as one's ability to clearly perceive and foresee the future in order to prepare to face the unpredictable consequences. Hence, the aim of this paper is to examine factors affecting visionary leadership of logistics and supply chain managers. Five factors, namely, creativity, communication, organisation climate, emotional intelligence and traits were identified from relevant researches. This study explored with supply chain managers in the anufacturing industry of Thailand with 560 samples of 4636 total population. The confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) was tested with second order. It was revealed that the model fit confirms as appropriate (GFI = 0.953, AGFI = 0.930, CFI = 0.986 and RMSEA = 0.042). It showed that the model is valid and reliable to the visionary leadership for supply chain managers in the manufacturing industry of Thailand. On the basis of these current data it appears that five factors influence their visionary leadership.
