Item type:Publication, Highly secured optical communication by optical key and identification address(2013-05-01) ;Juleang, P. ;Putthacharoen, R. ;Mitatha, S.Yupapin, P. P.We propose a novel design of optical network system that can be used for optical communication security and receiver identification. The data signal is secured by using both the optical encryption key and optical address of the receiver before transmission, where finally the receiver who has the valid optical decryption key and optical address can decrypt the Ciphertext. In this paper, a PANDA ring resonator, optical add/drop filter and Mach-Zehnder Interferometer are used for the encryption, decryption and identification processes without any electronic control circuit. The encryption and decryption keys are formed by dark-bright soliton propagation within the PANDA ring resonator. Simulation results obtained have shown that the secured optical network can be achieved optically and realized. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Novel soliton cryptography using optical key generated by orthogonal dark-bright soliton pair(2012-08-01) ;Louangvilay, Xaythavy ;Mitatha, Somsak ;Yoshida, Masahiro ;Komine, NoriyukiYupapin, Preecha P.A new method of optical cryptography using dark-bright soliton conversion control within a modified add/drop optical filter is proposed. A pair of optical keys is randomly generated and transmitted into the transmission line, where finally the corrected keys between Alice (sender) and Bob (receiver) can be retrieved. In principle, the coincidence (orthogonal) dark-bright soliton pair has shown promising behaviors, especially when they propagate into the π/2 phase shifter, i.e. beamsplitter, the shift in phase of π/2 between dark and bright solitons is occurred and separated. Such behaviors can be used to form the orthogonal light modes (solitons), which are useful for cryptographic application, where in this case the longdistance cryptography can be easily managed. We have derived and presented a new concept of multi-orthogonal solitons generated by using dark-bright soliton pulses within the modified add/drop optical filter, which is known as a PANDA ring resonator. By using the dark-bright soliton conversion control, the obtained output of the dynamic states can be used to randomly form the multi-orthogonal soliton pairs, which can be available for computer and communication security applications, especially for long-distance link. © 2012 Society of Photo-Optical Instrumentation Engineers (SPIE). - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Novel optical cryptography using PANDA ring resonator for highly secured communication(2011-07-01) ;Putthacharoen, Rattipong ;Juleang, Pakorn ;Mitatha, SomsakYupapin, Preecha P.We propose a novel method of an optical cryptography using the dark-bright soliton conversion control in a modified adddrop optical filter. By using the control arrangement, the obtained outputs of the dynamic states of dark-bright soliton can be used to form the key suppression for communication security application, in which the key recovery can be obtained by controlling the adddrop filter outputs. The optical cryptography consists of an adddrop filter which is used to generate the encryption and decryption keys from the optical keys (LIP signals). A Mach-Zehnder interferometer is used for multiplexing and de-multiplexing operations. Simulation results obtained shows, that the proposed system can be used to form a high security communication system. © 2011 Society of Photo-Optical Instrumentation Engineers (SPIE).
