The distance error model is applied to estimate the distance between the transmitter and user's position with different path loss exponent and fading amount of indoor channel. The total $\mathbf{1 0 0}$ coordinates of user's positions are estimated using min-max method. The distance error at each position, probability density function (PDF) and cumulative distribution function (CDF) of distance errors are illustrated. The mean of analysis distance error corresponds with the mean of measurement distance error with same path loss exponent and fading amount of indoor channel. The results show that it is possible to use this accuracy analysis to estimate the distance error in an indoor environment. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

However, achieving sufficient temperature rise to sterilize bacteria remains challenging for teeth with an isthmus, indicating a need for further research. Numeral results show that the temperature significantly exceeds 60° C around the active electrode and between the active electrode and the ground electrode, with a particular temperature rising when the ground electrode is positioned inside the root canal. These findings highlight the need for further research to optimize treatment efficiency, particularly in improving temperature control and sterilization effectiveness. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

The choice of 5.8 GHz frequency offers several advantages, including reduced interference and higher data transmission rates, enhancing the precision and reliability of localization systems. Utilizing Received Signal Strength (RSS) for distance calculation is employed due to its computational simplicity and efficiency. The proposed methodology employs a modified Min-Max technique for estimating positions, iterating the Min-Max process until the distance error aligns with a predefined threshold. Comparative evaluation using Cumulative Distribution Function (CDF) demonstrates improved accuracy compared to conventional Min-Max methods. The research findings indicate promising enhancements in accuracy and efficacy for indoor localization using WLAN technology at 5.8 GHz. These advancements hold significant potential for real-time indoor localization applications, paving the way for improved indoor navigation and tracking systems in the future. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

The TETRA standard was selected to be used for fulfill the railway operations requirement. Almost TETRA radio system, the configuration almost carried out with the leaky cable configuration This paper presents the experimental study of TETRA radio system with leaky cable configuration, that being used in the railway communication. The frequency being used are between 385-400 MHz. Antenna placement poses challenges within power transformers, as improper positioning can significantly affect localization precision. This paper introduces an evaluation of the fingerprinting method for ultra-high frequency partial discharge localization. The fingerprinting method, commonly employed in wireless localization systems, is utilized to assess the accuracy of partial discharge localization. The proposed method leverages fingerprinting analysis and received signal strength to evaluate partial discharge events in power transformers. Experimental partial discharge measurements are conducted on a power transformer model provided by Tesla Power Company. The results include the average received signal strength at each measurement position and the distance error of the partial discharge location determined using the fingerprinting method. This research contributes to assessing partial discharge in power transformers, offering valuable insights for enhancing their health and performance evaluation. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Electromagnetic methods offer a promising approach to monitoring transformer health, benefiting from their ability to minimize external interference and their broad operating bandwidth covering HF, VHF, and UHF frequencies. The IEC 62478 standard provides multiple methodologies to leverage electromagnetic techniques in transformer health assessment, encompassing the analysis of electromagnetic waves through directivity, sensitivity, and transmission properties. In this study, we specifically investigate the transformer's UHF transmission characteristics. A vector network analyzer measures and records both transmitting and receiving elements of the UHF transmission channel and the UHF antenna. The measurements within the transformer tank simulate the realistic transformer environment. An optimum receiver is implemented at the receiver end to optimize the received signal quality. The results are comprehensively evaluated by analyzing the UHF transmission channel's path loss and transmission gain within the transformer. The primary objective of this research is to thoroughly examine the UHF transmission characteristics for efficient transformer condition monitoring, offering valuable insights for researchers and engineers involved in mitigating the risks associated with partial discharge in transformers. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Ultra-wideband technology can achieve the primary wireless communication requirements around the human vicinity. Hence, understanding the human body's effect on wireless communication systems is very important to investigate. This paper will present the evaluation scheme for the ultra-wideband human body channel characteristics in an indoor environment. The experimental is divided into two different scenarios, i.e., line-of-sight and non-line-of-sight, based on the actual wireless body area network applications. The experimental parameters cover the full band of the ultra-wideband regarding the FCC regulation of the ultra-wideband technology. The vector network analyzer and antennas are included in the experiment to measure and record the data. The channel transfer function evaluation results are path loss and delay characteristics. Previously, there were methods of examination and evaluation using ultrasonic and acoustic waves, for this thesis saw the importance of having studied and done. Test the transmission of electromagnetic waves in a power transformer. The vector network analyzer was used to measure and record the results. A microstrip patch antenna was used to evaluate the experimental measurements on the designed transformer wall at different locations. The results obtained from the experiments will be analyzed, evaluated, and compared to the transfer function of the electromagnetic wave in the transformer. Considering the transfer function, power delay profile, and path loss, in the cases of no obstruction and obstruction from the evaluation and comparative consideration. Studies and experiments show that the data obtained measuring electromagnetic wave characteristics in transformers are guidelines in the study and analysis of partial discharges in the transformer. Item type:Item, Measurement and Modeling of DTTV–SFN Propagation in Thailand(2020-12-01) ;Promwong, Sathaporn ;Tiengthong, ThanadolRuckveratham, BunditDigital terrestrial television (DTTV) with a single frequency network (SFN) in Thailand is based on digital video broadcasting-terrestrial second generation (DVB-T2) standard. The signal quality of DTTV–SFN is very important. DVB-T2 is improved from traditional terrestrial television broadcasting technology in term of modulation which is coded orthogonal frequency-division multiplex. Therefore, the performance of DTTV should be study. SFN is a key factor in DVB-T2 technology due to the benefits of SFN. In order to evaluation the DVB-T2 performance, this research had investigated delay characteristics , path loss, and broadcasting reception threshold of DVB-T2 signal. The measurement was done in an overlap area of DTTV–SFN in Thailand. The measurement model was set up to measure the delay time, received signal power, and network quality parameters between guard interval time of three transmitted stations. The results present a comparison of delay characteristics between each received positions and a comparison of path loss between free space case and measurements. An acceptable result of spectrum variation, CNR, MER, and noise margin are presented which have the average value equal to 3.03 dB, 22.62 dB, 7.83 dB, and − 5.54 dB, respectively. The contribution of this research provide a measurement and modeling of DTTV–SFN in Thialand which the results are presented a useful information for optimization and modeling of DTTV–SFN system in Thailand. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

The DTTV signal performance is very important. Therefore, the performance of DTTV should be studied. SFN is a key factor in DVB-T2 technology due to the benefits of SFN. In order to evaluate the DVB-T2 performance, this research had investigates broadcasting reception threshold of DVB-T2 signal. The experiment was done in a laboratory of Mass Communication Organization of Thailand company, Thailand, and field experiment was done in urban area of Sing Buri, Thailand. The measurement model was set up to measure the the DTTV performance parameter with respected to guard interval delay time of two SFN transmitters. The acceptable result of minimum power, received signal, CNR, MER, and transmission loss are presented. The reliability of the result was validated by using polynomial. The measurement results provided a useful information for optimization and modeling of DTTV broadcasting for SFN system with DVB-T2 in Thailand.
