Item type:Item, Sub 1-V highly-linear low-power class-AB bulk-driven tunable CMOS transconductor(2013-06-01) ;Yodtean, A.Thanachayanont, A.This paper describes the design and realization of a sub 1-V low power class-AB bulk-driven tunable linear transconductor using a 0.18-μm CMOS technology. The proposed transconductor employs a class-AB bulk-driven differential input voltage follower and a passive resistor to achieve highly linear voltage-to-current conversion. Transconductance tuning is achieved by tuning the differential output current of the core transconductor with gain-adjustable current mirrors. With 10.4-μA current consumption from a 0.8-V single power supply voltage, simulation results show that the proposed transconductor achieves the total harmonic distortion (THD) of <-40 dB for a peak differential input voltage range of 800 mV at frequencies up to 10 kHz. The simulated input-referred noise voltage integrated over 10-kHz bandwidth is 100 μV, resulting to an input signal dynamic range of 75 dB for THD <-40 dB. A biquadratic G<inf>m</inf>-C filter is designed to demonstrated the performance of the proposed transconductor. At the nominal 10-kHz cut-off frequency, the filter dissipates 34.4 μW from a 0.8-V supply voltage and it achieves an input signal dynamic range of 67.4 dB for the third-order intermodulation distortion of <-40 dB. © 2013 Springer Science+Business Media New York. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Item, A CMOS inverter-based class-AB pseudo-differential amplifier with current-mode common-mode feedback (CMFB)(2013-02-01) ;Suadet, ApirakKasemsuwan, VarakornThis paper presents a CMOS inverter-based class-AB pseudo-differential amplifier comprising currentmode common-mode feedback (CMFB). The circuit employs two CMOS inverters and the complementary CMFB consisting of current-mode common-mode (CM) detector and transimpedance amplifier. The circuit has been designed using 0.18 lm CMOS technology and operates at 1 V supply. The simulation results demonstrate rail-to-rail operation with low CM gain (-15 dB). The power dissipation of the circuit is 102.5 lW. © Springer Science+Business Media, LLC 2012. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Item, A 0.5 V Quasi-Floating-Gate (QFG) inverter-based class-AB gain-bandwidth independent amplifier(2011-12-01) ;Suadet, ApirakKasemsuwan, VarakornThis paper presents a 0.5 V QFG inverter-based class-AB gain-bandwidth independent amplifier. The circuit employs positive feedback to enhance the input impedance, and feed-forward technique to suppress the common-mode gain. The circuit is designed using 0.18 μm CMOS technology under 0.5 V supply. The simulation results show nearly constant bandwidth for various gain, rail-to-rail input/output swing, suppressed common-mode response, and good linearity. The power dissipation is 275 μW. © 2011 IEEE. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Item, A CMOS inverter-based class-AB pseudo differential amplifier for HF applications(2010-12-01) ;Suadet, ApirakKasemsuwan, VarakornThis paper presents a CMOS inverter-based class-AB pseudo differential amplifier for HF applications using new simple rail-to-rail CMFB circuit. The proposed circuit employs two CMOS inverters and the complementary common-mode feedback (CMFB) consisting of current mode common-mode detector and transimpedance amplifiers. The circuit has been designed using 0.18 μm CMOS technology under 1 V supply, and the simulation results shows that the rail to rail output swing is achieved with low common-mode gain (-15 dB). The output swing of the circuit is 0.7 V. The power dissipation of the circuit is 96 μW. © 2010 IEEE. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Item, CMOS class-AB voltage-mode multiplier(2005-12-01) ;Boonchu, BoonchaiSurakampontorn, WanlopA novel circuit configuration for a CMOS voltage-mode four-quadrant analog multiplier is described. It is based on square law characteristic of MOS transistor and class-AB amplifier. The multiplier achieves a linearity of 1.1%, -3dB bandwidth of 35MHz, and a total harmonic distortion of 0.76%. The power consumption is 1.5mW. © 2005 IEEE. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Item, Low-voltage Gm-enhanced class-AB pseudo-differential OTA for switched-capacitor circuits(2004-12-01) ;Chaloenlarp, W.Thanachayanont, A.A new low-voltage, rail-to-rail output swing, class-AB pseudo-differential operational transconductance amplifier (OTA) for high-speed switched-capacitor applications is proposed. Positive feedback is employed to enhance the input transconductance, which increases the open-loop DC gain and the unity-gain frequency of the OTA. Using a 0.35-μm CMOS process, the proposed OTA can obtain 78-dB DC gain, 72.5° phase margin, 100-V/μs slew rate with 1-pF load capacitor, while draining 170-μA quiescent supply current from a single 1- V power supply voltage. © 2004IEEE.
