Learning model of undergraduate students: Confirmatory factor analysis
    (2020-07-01)
    Tungkunanan, Pariyaporn
The research aimed to find the learning model of the undergraduate students by Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). The objective was design learning model. The Methods of this Study process to find the learning model of the undergraduate students is divided into two phrases. The 1st phrase: the preliminary study and the 2nd phrase: Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). The result found that learning model of the undergraduate that support capability of the learners to be qualified graduates and competitive in the international consist of (1) expectation, (2) planning by experience and reflective observation, (3) attention, retention and memory storage, (4) learning method, (5) retrieval by reproduction or making concept by conclusion principles, and (6) motivation or reinforcement.

This research aims to study the components and to do confirmatory factor analysis, and study the perceptions of ICT leadership of school administrators in Thailand. The results indicate that eight components of information and communication technology (ICT) leadership: developing a vision and administrative plans for the use of ICT in schools, establishing strategies for promoting teachers' and students' use of technology in instruction; developing plans for improving teachers' and supporting staff's technological skills; managing, supporting and facilitating an atmosphere conducive to the use of ICT and providing information technology (IT) resources; learning about meeting ICT-related challenges with prudence and care; acting as a role model in applying ICT to daily personal and professional matters; sharing knowledge, opening up opportunities and creating an ICT culture in schools in order to develop a learning community, and overseeing and doing follow-up on data storage and data updates for the benefit of decision making and problem solving. Confirmatory Factor Analysis suggests that the components of IT and communication leadership correspond significantly with empirical data and school administrators' perceptions of ICT leadership for use to develop guidelines for efficiently and effectively improving the capacity of ICT school leaders.

Integrated science process skills (ISPS) are a fundamental variable in scientific inquiry and scientific literacy. If students are proficient in this skill, they will be ready for living and working in the 21st-century, which requires the application of scientific knowledge and scientific inquiry. For these reasons, the researchers undertook a study to investigate the ISPS of Thai lower secondary school students. From the use of stratified random sampling, 350 Bangkok, Thailand Grade 8 secondary school students were selected. The SPSS statistics software was used for data analysis of the mean and standard deviation. A first-order confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and a two-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) were also employed. Findings from the research determined that student ISPS consisted of five indicators, including 1) controlling variables 2) hypotheses formulation 3) defining variables operationally 4) experimentation, and 5) data interpretation. Findings also revealed that overall, student ISPS were at a level that needed improvement.

The purpose of this two-phase study is to develop guidelines for the leadership of educational administration of the Ministry of Interior Thailand Local Administration Organization(TLAO), and to identify the confirmatory factors for a good governance education management of Ministry of Interior TLAO. In order to identify the guideline of good governance, the methodology consisted of two phases: 1. Document analysis, and 2. Interview data analysis and confirmatory factor analysis. The interview data were synthesized into four categories of good governance: general criteria qualification, specific criteria qualification, systematic administration, and outstanding performance; and these underpinned the development of the 128-item survey questionnaire. Confirmatory Factor Analysis and correlation of causal model variables were carried out using multi-stage sampling. The confirmatory factor analysis indicated four confirmatory factors: the environment, input, process, and productivity, each weighing at 0.05 significance level. This result was confirmed by c2 = 162.61, c2/df = 0.99, df = 164, p value = 0.52, GFI =.96, AGFI =.94 and RMSEA = 0.000.

The purpose of this research is to determine the effects of talent management, technological innovation and service quality on Thai bank performance. The population of the study consisted of 14 registered banking enterprises along with their associated 2068 branches. Using the IBM Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS v.21), 424 responses selected from a simple random sampling survey were analysed using both a secondorder confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and structural equation modelling (SEM). From the 93-item survey, pre-trail test, and the in-depth interviews from five experts, a questionnaire reliability score of 0.98 was obtained. Findings revealed that technological innovation and service quality strongly influence the Thai banking industry's performance, and should be given great attention.

In Thailand, supporting bicycle riding is regarded as an essential strategy. Many organizations are developing campaigns and activities to promote bicycle riding. However, most Thai people do not enjoy riding bicycles. Thus, this study aims to understand the motivational components and compare the different motivations for bicycle riding in various areas using confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). Six factors were considered: self-development, contemplation, exploration, physical challenge, stimulus seeking, and social interaction. The samples used in this study were 798 Thai tourists. The results of the second-order CFA indicate that six factors indicated motivation to ride bicycles at these tourist attractions at a statistical significance of 0.01. Moreover, the invariance analysis of the model parameters for the two areas through chi-square difference testing shows that factor loadings, intercepts, and the structural path have different values for tourist attractions in the mountains and those by the sea at a statistical significance of 0.01. Thus, models for tourist attractions in the mountain and those by the sea should be developed separately to determine suitable policies for these areas. Consequently, the government sectors and other involved organizations should use these indicators to develop more precise and suitable policies to promote bicycle riding for targeted groups. The CFA loadings obtained from this study can be used for ranking the priority of improving motivation for riding bicycles. Regarding mountain tourist attractions, contemplation was the factor having maximum CFA loading (β=0.935), followed by exploration (β=0.900). For sea tourist attractions, contemplation was the factor having the highest CFA loadings equal 0.992 followed by stimulus seeking (β=0.937).
