Item type:Item, SITO current-mode multifunction biquad using readily available IC LT1228s(2020-07-01) ;Roongmuanpha, NatchanaiTangsrirat, WorapongThis paper focuses on the practical realization of current-mode multifunction biquadratic filter with single input and triple outputs (SITO), implementing from two readily available IC LT1228s. Only three grounded passive elements have been used for the realization. Highpass (HP), bandpass (BP) and lowpass (LP) biquadratic filtering functions are simultaneously generated without modifying the circuit structure. The tuning laws of the natural angular frequency (ωo) and the quality factor (Q) are non-interactive electronic control by changing the external bias current of LT1228s. The critical circuit sensitivities are considered to be low. Computer simulations with PSPICE program are also confirmed with theoretical ones and used to demonstrate the circuit performance. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Item, Linearly Tunable CMOS Voltage Differencing Transconductance Amplifier (VDTA)(2019-06-01)Tangsrirat, WorapongThis paper proposes an alternative way to implement a linearly tunable CMOS voltage differencing transconductance amplifier (VDTA). It has been designed by using the floating current source (FCS) and the current squaring circuit. The circuit achieves its linear tunability by squaring the long-tail biasing current of the FCS. In this way, the transconductance gains of the proposed CMOS VDTA can be varied linearly through adjusting the DC bias currents. As an application example, the proposed VDTA is used in the design of an actively tunable voltage-mode multifunction filter. The derived filter possesses the following desirable properties: simultaneous realization of three standard filter functions; employment of only two grounded capacitors; and electronic tunability of the natural angular frequency and the quality factor. The performance of the proposed circuit and its filter design application were examined by PSPICE simulations with TSMC 0.25-mm CMOS real process technology. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Item, Voltage differencing gain amplifier-based sinusoidal quadrature oscillator using only two grounded capacitors(2019-01-01) ;Channumsin, OrapinTangsrirat, WorapongBackground: This article describes the circuit construction of the sinusoidal quadrature oscillator using two Voltage Differencing Gain Amplifiers (VDGAs) as active devices. Methods: Since the presented oscillator circuit uses only two external grounded capacitors as pas-sive elements, it is quite suitable for monolithic integration point of view. The condition of oscilla-tion and the frequency of oscillation are non-interactive, and can be controlled electronically by tun-ing two separate biasing currents. Non-ideal analysis and sensitivity performance are also discussed. Results: The feasibility of the designed oscillator is justified by the PSPICE simulation results based on TSMC 0.35-µm CMOS process parameters. Conclusion: The effects of the VDGA non-idealities on the proposed circuit are also provided, and the computer simulations based on TSMC 0.35-mm CMOS model parameters are included to evalu-ate the performance of the circuit. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

The displayed circuit can perform either voltage-mode filter or current-mode filter from the same structure. The circuit demonstrates the ensuing advantageous features: (i) simultaneous realization of highpass (HP), bandpass (BP) and lowpass (LP) filter functions, (ii) no requirement for element matching constraints, (iii) electronic tuning of its major parameters, (iv) low sensitivity performance. The introduced filter employs a single current follower transconductance amplifier (CFTA) and a minimum of passive components, i.e., one resistor and two grounded capacitors. It is capable of generating all the five standard biquadratic filtering functions and suitable for current-mode cascading by possessing high-output impedance. Also, the proposed filter can be tuned electronically by an external bias current of the CFTA. The circuit is analyzed for the non-idealities of the used CFTA and possesses attractive low sensitivity performance. The presented quadrature oscillator provides the following attractive properties: (i) canonic form and resistor less structure; (ii) availability of the explicit quadrature voltage outputs and current outputs; (iii) electronic controllability of the oscillation frequency (Ω<inf>0</inf>); and (iv) low active and passive sensitivities. It employs a canonical number of active and passive elements, and can simultaneously realize lowpass, bandpass, highpass, bandstop and allpass responses with interconnection of relevant input voltages. The presented filter configuration also has low active and passive component sensitivities along with orthogonally adjustable natural angular frequency (ωo ) and the quality factor (Q). Item type:Item, Electronically Controllable Resistorless Dual-Mode Multifunction Filter(2017-01-01) ;Mongkolwai, PratyaTangsrirat, WorapongA circuit topology using two compact tunable transconductance cells (G<inf>m</inf>-cells) and three capacitors is presented for realization of an electronically tunable resistorless dual-mode multifunction filter. The presented multifunction filter can operate either in voltage-mode or current-mode, and can realize the highpass, bandpass and lowpass filter responses simultaneously. The filter parameters, i.e. the natural angular frequency (<inf>o</inf>) and the quality factor (Q), are electronically controllable by means of the transconductance gains. No element matching constraints are necessary, and the active and passive component sensitivities are low. PSPICE simulation results based on TSMC 0.25-m CMOS real process agree closely with the theoretical calculations. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Item, Compact electronically tunable quadrature oscillator using single voltage differencing gain amplifier (VDGA) and all grounded passive elements(2017-01-01) ;Channumsin, OrapinTangsrirat, WorapongThis work deals with the design of a compact electronically tunable sinusoidal quadrature oscillator. The proposed quadrature oscillator is designed with a single voltage differencing gain amplifier (VDGA) and all the three grounded passive elements. Its oscillation condition and oscillation frequency can be tuned independently by means of the VDGA transconductance gains. The proposed oscillator also provides the explicit quadrature voltage outputs of almost equal magnitude and low active and passive sensitivity figures. The performance of the oscillator has been demonstrated by PSPICE simulations based on TSMC 0.35-μm CMOS technology.
