Item type:Item, Thai information and communication technology student teacher complex problem-solving skills(2021-10-01) ;Sermsri, Natchanun ;Sukkamart, AukkapongKantathanawat, ThiyapornFrom the study’s qualitative analysis, 5 latent variables and 21 observed variables concerning complex problem-solving (CPS) skills were identified and subsequently used in a questionnaire on a sample of 214 Thai education professionals teaching information and communication technology (ICT)-related student teachers in one of 31 Thai Rajabhat (teaching) Universities. Goodness-of-fit and descriptive statistical analysis (mean and standard deviation) were analysed by using IBM® Statistical Package for the Social Sciences® for Windows version 21, while the second-order confirmatory factor analysis used LISREL 9.10. The results revealed that the educators perceived information literacy (1.00), analytical thinking (0.96), self-control (0.93), knowledge application (0.90) and planning ability (0.85) as the most important for the student teachers’ CPS skills. Moreover, the results revealed that each teacher’s opinion on CPS skill indicators was at a ‘high agreement’ level. Therefore, it suggested that the results can be used by Thailand’s Ministry of Education and other ICT-related education agencies in developing CPS skill programmes for Thai student teachers. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Item type:Item, Information and communication technology leadership of school administrators in Thailand(2019-04-01) ;Apsorn, Amnat ;Sisan, BoonchanTungkunanan, PariyapornThis research aims to study the components and to do confirmatory factor analysis, and study the perceptions of ICT leadership of school administrators in Thailand. The results indicate that eight components of information and communication technology (ICT) leadership: developing a vision and administrative plans for the use of ICT in schools, establishing strategies for promoting teachers' and students' use of technology in instruction; developing plans for improving teachers' and supporting staff's technological skills; managing, supporting and facilitating an atmosphere conducive to the use of ICT and providing information technology (IT) resources; learning about meeting ICT-related challenges with prudence and care; acting as a role model in applying ICT to daily personal and professional matters; sharing knowledge, opening up opportunities and creating an ICT culture in schools in order to develop a learning community, and overseeing and doing follow-up on data storage and data updates for the benefit of decision making and problem solving. Confirmatory Factor Analysis suggests that the components of IT and communication leadership correspond significantly with empirical data and school administrators' perceptions of ICT leadership for use to develop guidelines for efficiently and effectively improving the capacity of ICT school leaders. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Item, An analysis of how government support, entrepreneurship, service innovation, and e-readiness affect a Thai SME hotel's competitive advantage(2019-01-01) ;Ounarat, Kanitta ;Sangmanee, WoranatChaveesuk, SinghaEssential elements of economic development are small and medium enterprises (SMEs) which are considered the primary mechanism for enhancing income and employment of countries around the world. In Thailand, most hotels function within the spectrum as SMEs, which therefore are a crucial element in providing a memorable experience to Thailand's 40 million foreign visitors and domestic Thai tourists. Therefore, the authors undertook a study of the opinions of 280 SME hotel owners, managers, and advisors to investigate their opinions concerning their hotel's competitive advantage (CA). LISREL 9.1 was used to analyse the owners and managers opinions on how a Thai SME hotel's CA was affected by government support (GS), entrepreneurship (EN), service innovation (SI), and electronic e-readiness (e- RE). Results from the five-province sample revealed that all the causal variables positively influenced CA, as the combined variance of influence was 77% (R2). Also, from the study's eight SEM hypotheses results, the factors most relevant to a Thai hotel entrepreneur's CA when ranked in importance were SI, e-RE, EN, and GS. Finally, SI was determined to ne most essential to a hotel entrepreneur's CA, which included the manifest variables product innovation, process innovation, and marketing innovation. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Item, Determinants of Thailand's MICE industry organisational effectiveness(2017-01-01) ;Bandhuseve, Songsiri ;Limnarat, SunpasitTangthong, SorasakResearch has determined that business tourism produces more income per person, per day than leisure travellers. To understand this phenomenon, this study investigated the effects of capacity management, customer relationship management, information computer technology (ICT), service quality, supplier relationship management (SRM), and supply chain management (SCM) on Thailand's meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) industry organisational effectiveness. The researchers embraced a descriptive survey methodology designed to assess how the 500 managers surveyed viewed their organisations' effectiveness. The design employed the self-administration of questionnaires to a sample of individuals which was aimed at finding each individual's attitudes and opinion about how the 21 observed variables impacted their operations. Of the 10 hypotheses and 21 observed variables, nine were proven, with the findings confirming that ICT has a significant effect on MICE organisational effectiveness. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Item, Needs assessment of information and communication technology literacy (ICT literacy) of students in secondary educational service area(2016-01-01) ;Thammasaeng, Patcharapon ;Pupat, PhadungchaiPetchaboon, SawasThe objectives of this research were (1) to study authentic situations of Information Communication Technology literacy of students in secondary educational service area (2) to compare situations of ICT literacy of students in secondary educational service area, divided in each levels (3) to examine need assessment of ICT literacy of students in secondary educational service area (4) to prioritise needs assessment of ICT literacy of students in secondary educational service area. The sample consisted of 340 ICT teachers, teaching in Grade 7 to 9 from schools in secondary educational service area in 2015. The sampling group was drawn from 2,343 ICT teachers by using multi-stage sampling technique. The questionnaires include 76 questions from 7 components in which the questionnaires were approved content validity from experts at level of 0.98 and 0.99, respectively. The statistics were used to analyse the data as follows: mean (M), standard deviation (SD), one-way ANOVA, Matrix analysis, priority needs index modified (PNI modified). The study revealed that (1) authentic situation of ICT literacy of students in secondary educational service area was found at "Moderate" level (2) authentic situation of ICT literacy of students in secondary educational service area, divided in levels was found "No different" (3) authentic situation of need assessment in 7 aspects (Define, Access, Manage, Evaluate, Integrate, Create and Communicate) fell in the third quadrant, in which means "Need to be improved" (4) prioritise need assessment from the most necessary to the least was found as follows: Manage, Evaluate, Create, Define, Access, Integrate and Communicate, respectively. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Item, Reserch and development of the city commuter installed ICT functions in consideration of usability(2015-01-01) ;Okumura, Kohei ;Sararuengpong, Kitipat ;Chaweechan, Charoen ;Ishida, KojiIshigami, KazuyukiIt is commonly believed that the development of ICT contributes in various fields. Accordingly, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications of Japan has promoted «ICT community development business». In local area where does not have enough public transport facilities, it is hard for elderly people who cannot drive a car to go out. Additionally, it is supposed that the time national disasters like earthquakes happen all of transport would be stopped. To solve these problems is the one of the goal of the business, and we research and develop a vehicle called city commuter that has convenience ICT functions. Its design is based on three-wheeled electric bicycle. This paper shows the way we decided the design of the city commuter. After that, it explains the detail of the method to create each ICT system. At the end, it describes the conclusion and the future prospects of this study.
