Item type:Item, New electronically tunable current-mode universal biquad filter using translinear current conveyors(2010-05-01) ;Kumngern, Montree ;Jongchanachavawat, WiroteDejhan, KobchaiIn this study, a new electronically tunable current-mode universal filter with two inputs and two outputs employing one translinear current conveyor, one translinear current conveyor with controlled current gain and two grounded capacitors is presented. The proposed circuit offers the following attractive features: realisation of low-pass, band-pass, high-pass, band-stop and all-pass current responses from the same configuration; employment of the minimum active and passive components; no requirement of component matching conditions; independent current-control of the parameters natural frequency (wo) and quality factor (Q); low active and passive sensitivities; and high impedance output. Item type:Item, A simple rail-to-rail CMOS voltage follower(2009-01-27) ;Kasemsuwan, VarakornNakhlo, WeerachaiPurpose - The paper aims to present a simple rail-to-rail CMOS voltage follower. Design/methodology/approach - The circuit is developed based on a complementary source follower with a common-source output stage. The circuit is designed using a 0.13 μm CMOS technology, and operates under the supply voltage of 1.5 V. HSPICE is used to verify the circuit performance. Findings - The simulations show output voltage swing of ±0.6 V (300 Ω load) with the total harmonic distortion of 0.55 per cent at the operating frequency of 3 MHz. The bandwidth and power dissipation are 657 MHz and 405 μW, respectively. Item type:Item, Integrable Electronically Tunable Current Conveyors(1988-01-01) ;Surakampontorn, W.Thitimajshima, P.A generalised current conveyor, termed an electronically tunable second-generation current conveyor (ECCII), whose current-transfer ratio can be varied by electronic means, is introduced. A method is proposed for realising ECCII in monolithic integrated form providing both a positive and a negative ECCII in the same circuit. Experimental and simulation results demonstrating the circuit performance are included.
