Item type:Item, Sustainability of Rubber Farmers Cooperatives: Empirical Evaluation of Determining Factors(2022-01-01) ;Nuanphromsakul, Kajohnjak ;Szczepańska-Woszczyna, Katarzyna ;Kot, Sebastian ;Chaveesuk, SinghaChaiyasoonthorn, WornchanokThe study investigated the factors that influence rubber farmers' cooperatives from the perspective of sustainability in Thailand. The research adopted a quantitative survey methodology with data purposively collected from 434 Thai rubber farmer groups. The variables included trust, sustainability, perceived value, satisfaction, loyalty, and brand image. The model was evaluated using Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), while Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was used to assess the hypotheses. The results indicated that the sustainability of the rubber farmers' cooperatives as a corporate entity is influenced by brand image, loyalty, and satisfaction. Trust was also found to have a significant effect on the satisfaction and loyalty of the rubber farmers' cooperatives. The research recommended that to enhance the sustainability of the rubber farmers' cooperative's brand image, loyalty, and satisfaction should be improved. The research's drawback is that it only looked at the rubber farmer cooperatives of Thailand as a corporation, and therefore, these factors should be taken into account when applying these results outside of this scope. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Item, Factors influencing repurchase intention among foreign medical tourists in Bangkok, Thailand: A structural equation model(2020-01-01) ;Wongsawat, ChayapaDeebhijarn, SamartThailand is already a top global medical tourism destination, yet it continues to improve its products and services intended for foreign medical tourists (FMT). Thailand’s 2017–2026 policy, aimed at positioning itself as a world-class medical hub, is geared precisely to ensure that the tourism industry is continually improved and that the FMT are always considered, for example, in terms of their repurchase intention. Repurchase intention is strategic to Thailand: it has implications for the repeat visits among the FMT as well as it is indicative of the industry quality, both of which have far-reaching consequences for the country’s tourist arrivals and revenues. Employing a structural equation modeling, this study demonstrates the effects of five factors, namely, customer expectation, perceived quality, brand experience, perceived value, and customer satisfaction, on repurchase intention among a sample of 600 FMT, who were recruited and interviewed at 16 hospitals in Bangkok. Results indicate that customer satisfaction has the foremost effect on repurchase intention, and followed, albeit with far lesser effects, by customer expectation, brand experience, perceived value, and perceived quality, in that order. In general, the five-factor model was found to have only explained 34.2% of the variance in the repurchase intention among the FMT interviewed. The model is subject to further testing and validation. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Item, Modeling user perception of bus service quality: A case study in mauritius(2020-01-01) ;Champahom, Thanapong ;Jomnonkwao, Sajjakaj ;Karoonsoontawong, Ampol ;Hantanong, NatthapornBeeharry, RoodheerThis paper evaluates the perceived bus service quality by passengers in Mauritius. Structural equation modeling (SEM) was used to identify the unobserved latent variables relevant to public passenger bus service and reveal the relationships between these latent variables and customer satisfaction. The data were obtained from a customer satisfaction survey collected from 501 participants in Mauritius and three latent variables that described the expected service quality characteristics, namely Vehicle, Management, and Driver. The SEM results revealed that the most significant expectation was the quality of the vehicle that included the cleanliness and vehicle body. The second was driver and crews and the personal attributes of the bus service crew. The third anticipation was the overall management of the service. The findings of this research can provide crucial information for public transport bus operators to enable them not only to retain their current customers but also attract new customers. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Item, Intention to purchase electric passenger vehicles among drivers in Thailand: A structural equation modeling analysis(2019-01-01) ;Promphat, SantiDeebhijarn, SamartElectric passenger vehicles are still in the early stage of research and development in Thailand, but domestic researchers are already keen to know about the variety of factors that would have a potential to influence the intention of Thai drivers to buy the said vehicles. Using structural equation modeling analysis, this study examined the direct and indirect effects of attitude, external environment, marketing mix, subjective norms, and customer perception on purchase intention. Data were obtained from a sample of 650 Thai licensed drivers who were randomly selected and interviewed at 367 car service centers located across Bangkok. Results reveal that 52.3% of the purchase intention of Thai drivers are explained by the five-factor model. However, of the five factors, the most significant is subjective norms, followed by the marketing mix and attitude. Attitude, which lies at the heart of purchase intention, is predicted most significantly by the external environment. The findings suggest that Thailand’s concerted efforts on electric passenger vehicles would have to be carefully designed such that the relevant external environment, subjective norms, marketing mix, and attitude would all be directed to influence the purchase intention of local drivers positively. The model needs further validation among a broader sample of Thai drivers. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Item, Developing Reverse Logistics Practices Solutions Model Using Structural Equation Modeling(2018-07-02) ;Sirisawat, PornwasilKiatcharoenpol, TossapolReverse logistics (RL) become one of the key strategy of supply chain management in the present which focus on reducing environmental impacts and also recapturing value from end of life products/return products from point of consumption to create more profits to the businesses. Many companies try to apply the concept of RL to improve the efficiency of supply chain management and response to demand changing of the customers which more focus on the environmental friendly products. However, the companies still faced some barriers from RL practices implementation. Therefore, the objectives of this study aim investigate the RL practices solutions of Thai's electronics industry by using structural equation modeling (SEM) which exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) were used to examine the proposed model. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Item type:Item, Effect of Sustainable Infrastructure Assessments on Construction Project Success Using Structural Equation Modeling(2017-05-01) ;Krajangsri, ThanachonPongpeng, JakrapongSustainable infrastructure assessments can be used by the construction industry to develop sustainable infrastructure projects and achieve successful construction projects. However, the effect of sustainable infrastructure assessments on the success of construction projects has not been examined in previous studies, based on the authors' knowledge; therefore, this study examined this effect. A questionnaire was used to collect data on the importance of a range of criteria used to evaluate sustainable infrastructure assessments and construction project success. The data were then analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM) to validate a structural model used to determine the effect of sustainable infrastructure assessments. The final SEM model shows the following: (1) sustainable infrastructure assessments can be described by eight criteria (i.e., environmental impacts on surrounding areas, transport, community, energy and water, location, project management, waste management, and materials and resources); (2) construction project success can be described by six criteria (i.e., environment, quality, safety, time, cost, and client satisfaction); and (3) sustainable infrastructure assessments directly affect construction project success (regression weight of 0.83). The results of this research inform how sustainable infrastructure assessments affect construction project success and could be used as a guideline for developing sustainable infrastructure projects. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
