The aim of this research was to compare the newly developed processed meat packaging in Thailand’s retail market and to study the factors affecting consumer purchasing decisions. In this study, a mixed methods approach was applied using a structured questionnaire, in which the alpha coefficient was good (0.903), as the research tool. The collected data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) and AMOS programs. The packaging comparison results showed that consumers’ satisfaction with the newly developed processed meat packaging led to increased satisfaction. In addition, three factors affecting the new packaging design were identified, which is consistent with the empirical data, and showed discriminant validity that could be applied to separate the factors used to evaluate the customers’ feelings in the retail market. The results also indicated that shelf life extension, product differentiation, and convenience of portability were the vital components affecting consumer purchasing decisions. Thus, entrepreneurs can adapt these three factors to the marketing strategies development of their processed meat packaging in order to maximize the distribution opportunities for their sustainable economic stability in Thailand’s retail market.

The objectives of this research were: (1) to examine the factors influencing the natural dyeing process using teak leaves, and (2) to evaluate consumer satisfaction with textiles dyed using this technique. A structured questionnaire was employed as the research instrument, focusing on the characteristics of environmentally friendly textile products. Utilizing Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA), the study identified 28 variables affecting the natural dyeing process from teak leaves, and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) established separate discriminant validity data. Four key factors were identified: (1) Policy and Natural Materials, (2) Knowledge of Local Materials, (3) Wisdom/Skills, and (4) Textile Products. All factors met the standard criteria for fit indices, with values of χ2 = 11.164, df = 15, relative χ2 =.744, p =.741, GFI =.991, AGFI =.956, NFI =.994, TLI = 1.009, CFI = 1.000, RMSEA =.000, and RMR =.020, allowing for the evaluation of new textile product prototypes through Multiple Regression Analysis. The study found that these four independent variables collectively explained 86.0% of consumer satisfaction, as indicated by the standardized regression equation =.434(X1) +.325(X2) +.292(X3). The findings highlight the potential of using local materials to enhance environmental sustainability, generate community income, and preserve traditional wisdom in Thailand.

Creativity: Influencing Factors on Student Innovation and Creativity Skills in the Design of Industrial Products
    (2023-05-01)
    Egwutvongsa, Songwut
The objective of this research was to study the influencing factors related to the creativity and innovation skills of students in the field of industrial product design, and the population was defined as three hundred and nine students in the product design program at King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang with the sample group comprising two hundred and seventy-five 1st-4th year students selected using stratified sampling. Additionally, structured interviews were used as the research tool (Cronbach's alpha = 0.803), which was analyzed by Exploratory Factor Analysis and Confirmatory Factor Analysis. In this case, it was found from the EFA analysis that there were three components (KMO = 0.950): 1) the fundamental component of self-concept, 2) the consideration of the impact on others, and 3) the drive component that stimulates development, with the goodness of fit index as follows: X2 = 22.202, df = 26, relative X2 = .854, pvalue = .678, RMSEA = .000, RMR = .010, GFI = .985, AGFI = .963, NFI = .994, TLI = 1.002, PGFI = .388, RFI = .987, AIC = 102.202. In this study, the composition from EFA was shown to be consistent with the CFA by having a structural equation model with a measurement model that fits well with the theoretical model of stimulating creativity and innovation. Moreover, it corresponds to the empirical data at a good level with the following values: X2 = 19.964, relative X2 = .768, p-value = .795, RMSEA = .000, GFI = .987, CFI = 1.000.

The objective of this research was to develop a guideline for teak utilization over 13-15 years. In this case, the population comprised one thousand, one hundred, and twenty-nine participants at the academic conference and Thai natural resource exhibition, while the group sampling included a visitor group comprising ninety-four people at the exhibition and young teak product sales at the level of deviation of 10 percent. In this case, a 5-point rating scale was used as a research tool employing structured questionnaires, with a reliability value at the level of 0.7842. The results found that the participants had satisfaction in the produced model from young teak at the excellent level, (Mean=4.202; S.D.=0.649) according to the eight fields of satisfaction assessment consisting of 1) Function, 2) Durability, 3) Economics, 4)Material, 5)Ease of Use, 6)Construction, 7)Aesthetics, and 8)Production. Therefore, there were the means of each satisfaction field at the same level with a significance of .05, and the research results in the community group could be applied to use with the utilization pattern of young teak for 13-15 years by increasing economic value for teak garden cultivation in various communities.

This research had the objective to design children’s bins and make a comparison of the new and old bin patterns. The group sampling consisted of 652 participants composed of the students and personnel in a school in Khlong Kum District, Bangkok, Thailand. For this case, multistage random sampling was used with 234 participants, and the research tools were composed of five-point Likert scale questionnaires that were measured with Cronbach’s alpha coefficient with a level of 0.91, independent t-test and multiple regression analysis. From the above information, it was found that the influencing factors to the children’s bin’s design involved the beauty (0.32), specific attributes, (0.24), morale (0.16), ergonomics (0.10), safety (0.07), application (0.07), and the materials (0.05). In addition, when testing the model, it was found that the new bin product patterns had the most satisfaction level (X=4.55; S.D.=0.30), followed by the original bin product patterns that had a moderate satisfaction level (X=3.08; S.D.=0.52). Finally, when comparing the differences of the satisfaction level by using the t-test statistics, it was found that the children’s satisfaction to the new bin patterns were at a higher level than the original ones with a statistical significance level of .05.
