Item type:Item, Electronically tunable current-mode multiphase oscillator using current-controlled cctas(2010-12-01)Kumngern, MontreeThis paper presents a new current-mode multiphase sinusoidal oscillator employing current controlled current conveyor transconductance amplifiers (CCCCTAs). The proposed oscillator circuit, which employs one CCCCTA, one grounded capacitor and one grounded resistor for each phase, can generate arbitrary n output current equal-amplitude signals that are equally spaced in phase (n being even or odd), all at high output impedance terminals. The frequency of oscillation and the condition of oscillation can be controlled electronically and independently through adjusting the bias current of the CCCCTA. The proposed oscillator is highly suitable for integrated circuit implementation. Item type:Item, High frequency and high precision CMOS half-wave rectifier(2010-10-01) ;Kumngern, Montree ;Knobnob, BoonyingDejhan, KobchaiIn this paper, a new high frequency and high precision half-wave rectifier circuit which is very suitable for CMOS technology implementation is presented. The system comprises a voltage to current converter, a dual output precision current-mode half-wave rectifier, and two current to voltage converters. An input voltage signal is converted into a current signal by using a current conveyor and a MOS resistor. The current signal is rectified using a dual output class-AB precision rectifier cell and then converted into two output voltages by using grounded MOS resistors. This class-AB current-mode precision rectifier is employed for providing high frequency performance. Simulated rectifier results based-on a 0.5 μm CMOS technology with ±1.2 V supply voltage demonstrates very high operating frequency, very precise rectification and good temperature stability. © Springer Science+Business Media, LLC 2010. © Springer Science+Business Media, LLC 2010. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Item, Current-mode quadrature sinusoidal oscillator with current and voltage outputs(2010-08-11)Kumngern, MontreeA new current-mode quadrature oscillator, which provides both current and voltage outputs simultaneously is proposed. The proposed circuit employs two differential voltage current conveyors, two grounded capacitors and three grounded resistors. The condition oscillator and the frequency oscillation are orthogonally controllable. The proposed circuit can be made electronic control by using voltage-controlled differential voltage current conveyors. Item type:Item, Current conveyor-based versatile precision rectifier(2008-12-01) ;Kumngern, MontreeDejhan, KobchaiA versatile precision rectifier based on a current conveyor and current mirrors is presented. The proposed circuit performs positive half-wave, negative half-wave, positive full-wave, and negative full-wave rectification into a single circuit. The current-mode technique has been employed to provide the high-precision capability of the circuit. The circuit configuration is very suitable for integrated circuit implementation both in bipolar and CMOS technologies and it exhibits a precise rectifier and good temperature stability. Simulation results using the PSPICE program based on 0.5 μm CMOS parameter through MIETEC demonstrate the performance of the proposed rectifier. Experimental results are provided to confirm the theory.
