This scheme can be generated high capacity frequency comb signal tens to hundreds of frequencies by using a Dark-Bright soliton pulse driven, so that we can obtain high capacity comb signal at the through and drop port, respectively. Our system can tune the rate and pulse width by driving signal or the ring parameter. Item type:Item, High-capacity terahertz carrier generation using a modified add-drop filter for radio frequency identification(2012-08-01) ;Luangxaysana, Khanthanou ;Mitatha, Somsak ;Yoshida, Masahiro ;Komine, NoriyukiYupapin, PreechaA new technique of terahertz (THz) frequency carrier generation for multi-channel radio frequency identification (RFID) use is proposed. The dense wavelength division multiplexing signals can be obtained by using a Gaussian pulse propagating within a modified add-drop filter known as a PANDA ring resonator. The THz device system can be made contributions to the promising applications, especially in highspeed switching, demultiplexing, and wavelength conversion of optical signals, in which the effect of THz control is also required and essential for the potential application to ultra-high speed wireless digital interconnects for computer chips with ultra-high clock rates. In principle, the high-density frequency (wavelength) can be generated and used to form the RFID; moreover, the tiny device system is another advantage, which can be constructed to incorporate the currently used system. Item type:Item, Micro-optical gyroscope using a PANDA ring resonator(2012-06-20) ;Sa-Ngiamsak, Wisitsak ;Sirawattananon, Chaiwat ;Srinuanjan, Keerayoot ;Mitatha, SomsakYupapin, Preecha P.We propose a new system of a micro-optical gyroscope (MOG) using a micro-embedded system. This system is comprised of a modified add/drop filter known as a PANDA ring resonator, which can be applied to navigate the direction with 3-D axes. The optical total path length of a MOG has been expanded by mean of an enhanced ring or PANDA ears. Simulation results obtained have shown that the precision signal at the phase difference of rotation orbit (straight line, ellipse, circle, etc.,) as a function of the inertial rotation rate Ω based on the Sagnac effect is achieved. The dependence of the transmission characteristics of the PANDA ring on the coupling coefficients of directional couplers is studied. The obtained outputs for a dark-bright soliton dynamic state can be controlled and used to form the public key suppression for communication security application. However, a good design should be possible to be fabricated; therefore, by using the parameters based on the practical device parameters, the simulation results obtained have shown that the proposed system can indeed be achieved. Such a system is known as the PANDA ring resonator structure. By controlling the suitable input parameters and the control optical signals, the optical pulses are employed to form the gradient potentials, finally, the optical vortices (gradient optical fields/wells) are generated, which can be deployed in various applications. © 2011 World Scientific Publishing Company.
