Item type:Item, Floating Inductance Simulator with Electronic Tuning Property Using only Active Elements(2023-01-01) ;Roongmuanpha, Natchanai ;Mongkolwai, Pratya ;Pukkalanun, Tattaya ;Dumawipata, TeerasilapaTangsrirat, WorapongThis paper discusses the active-only electronically tunable floating lossless inductance simulator, which uses a single fully balanced-voltage differencing buffered amplifier (FB-VDBA) and one operational amplifier (OA). For this implementation, only integrated circuit packages with no external passive components are utilized. The synthetic equivalent inductance value is electronically adjustable via the transconductance gain of the FB-VDBA. Non-idealities of the active element have produced their effects. Using PSPICE with TSMC 0.25-mum CMOS parameter and the LM741 type OA, the performance of the proposed circuit and its application as a second-order voltage-mode lowpass filter is demonstrated. The numerical simulations closely matched the theoretical results. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Item, Two-input two-output current-mode universal biquad using only VDTAs and grounded capacitors(2018-06-08) ;Moonmuang, Pitchayanin ;Mongkolwai, PratyaTangsrirat, WorapongA two-input two-output current-mode universal biquad employing only two voltage differencing transconductance amplifiers (VDTAs) and two grounded capacitors is introduced. By appropriately connecting the input and output terminals, the proposed circuit can realize lowpass, bandpass, highpass, bandstop and allpass current responses. It also exhibits an independent electronic control of the natural angular frequency (ω<inf>o</inf>) and the quality factor (Q) by properly setting the transconductance values of the VDTAs. No critical component matching choices are imposed for generating all the filter functions, and all incremental parameter sensitivities are low. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Item, Single-input three-output dual-mode universal biquad realization based on floating-current-source building blocks(2017-11-03) ;Mongkolwai, Pratya ;Unhavanich, SumaleeTangsrirat, WorapongA novel dual-mode universal biquadraic filter with one input and three outputs is presented, which contains only two floating current sources (FCSs), and four external passive components. The presented filter exhibits the following properties : capable of working either voltage-mode or current-mode, electronically controllable of the natural angular frequency (Ω<inf>o</inf>) by means of the transconductance gains, independent grounded-resistance control of the quality factor (Q), simultaneous realization of all the three basic filtering signals, no component matching constraints and low active and passive component sensitivities. To confirm the theory, the proposed circuit is simulated with PSPICE program using TSMC 0.25-μm CMOS technology.
