Item type:Item, A single eye 3D image perception device using vertical double ring resonator construction(2015-08-01) ;Saktioto, T. ;Irawan, D. ;Yupapin, Preecha P.Phatharacorn, PrateepA single eye three-dimensional (3D) imaging perception using a single 3D imaging pixel is designed and manipulated, which is the interesting device configuration that can be used for various applications. The device configuration is consisted of double conjugate mirrors that can be vertically fabricated, which can be used to form the 3D image using a single pixel configuration, from which the large area device construction is also possible. By adjusting the microconjugate mirror parameters, then the matching between both microconjugate mirrors can lead to obtain the required 3D images. Results obtained have shown that the 3D image outputs can be achieved and used for 3D pixel imaging. The 3D image output can be confirmed by the four-wave mixing output balancing profile, which is achieved. In applications, the large area 3D images can be constructed using the large area 3D imaging device, from which the large area can be coverage by the microconjugate mirror array, which can be useful for various applications. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Item, Ultra-short laser pulse generated by a microring resonator system for cancer cell treatment(2013-06-10) ;Jalil, M. A. ;Ong, C. T. ;Saktioto, T. ;Daud, S.Aziz, M. S.A microring resonator (MRRs) system incorporated with a add/drop filter is proposed in which ultra-short single, multi-temporal, and spatial optical soliton pulses are simulated and used to kill abnormal cells, tumors, and cancer. Chaotic signals are generated by a bright soliton pulse within a nonlinear MRRs system. Gold nanoparticles and ultra-short femtosecond/picosecond laser pulses' interaction holds great interest in laser nanomedicine. By using appropriate soliton input power and MRRs parameters, desired spatial and temporal signals can be generated over the spectrum. Results show that short temporal and spatial solitons pulse with FWHM = 712 fs and FWHM = 17.5 pm could be generated. The add/drop filter system is used to generate the high-capacity, ultra-short soliton pulses in the range of nanometer/second and picometer/second. Item type:Item, Acne vulgarism treatment using ultra-short laser pulse generated by micro- and nano-ring resonator system(2013-04-01) ;Jalil, M. A. ;Phelawan, J. ;Aziz, M. S. ;Saktioto, T.Ong, C. T.Acne vulgaris is adebilitating dermatologic disease, and is conventionally treated by laser therapy using a microring resonator system. An evolving understanding of laser-tissue interactions involving Propioni bacterium acneproducing porphyrins, and the development of lasers to target the sebaceous glands, has led to the development of an escalating number of laser light for acne treatment. The results show that the full width at half maximum of the proposed laser pulse of 0.15 nm can be generated using a microring resonator system. The power of the laser is 200 W and the wavelength laser is 1,032 nm, which is proposed as a treatment of acne vulgaris diseases. Item type:Item, Generation of THz frequency using PANDA ring resonator for THz imaging(2012-12-05) ;Jalil, M. A. ;Abdolkarim, Afroozeh ;Saktioto, T. ;Ong, C. T.Yupapin, Preecha P.In this study, we have generated terahertz (THz) frequency by a novel design of microring resonators for medical applications. The dense wavelength-division multiplexing can be generated and obtained by using a Gaussian pulse propagating within a modified PANDA ring resonator and an add/drop filter system. Our results show that the THz frequency region can be obtained between 40-50 THz. This area of frequency provides a reliable frequency band for THz pulsed imaging. © 2012 Jalil et al. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Item, Drug trapping and delivery for Alzheimer's diagnosis(2012-10-01) ;Jalil, M. A. ;Kamoldilok, Surachart ;Saktioto, T. ;Ong, C. T.Yupapin, Preecha P.In this investigation, a new design based on a PANDA ring resonator as an optical trapping tool for tangle protein, molecular motor storage, and delivery is proposed. The optical vortices are generated and the trapping mechanism is controlled in the same way as the conventional optical tweezers. The trapping force is produced by a combination of the gradient field and scattering photons. The required molecular volume is trapped and moved dynamically within the molecular network. The tangle protein and molecular motor can be transported and delivered to the required destinations for Alzheimer's diagnosis by molecular buffer and bus network. © 2012 Informa Healthcare USA, Inc. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Item, Gold nanoparticle trapping and delivery for therapeutic applications(2012-02-10) ;Aziz, M. S. ;Suwanpayak, Nathaporn ;Jalil, Muhammad Arif ;Jomtarak, R.Saktioto, T.A new optical trapping design to transport gold nanoparticles using a PANDA ring resonator system is proposed. Intense optical felds in the form of dark solitons controlled by Gaussian pulses are used to trap and transport nanoscopic volumes of matter to the desired destination via an optical waveguide. Theoretically, the gradient and scattering forces are responsible for this trapping phenomenon, where in practice such systems can be fabricated and a thin-film device formed on the specific artifcial medical materials, for instance, an artificial bone. The dynamic behavior of the tweezers can be tuned by controlling the optical pulse input power and parameters of the ring resonator system. Different trap sizes can be generated to trap different gold nanoparticles sizes, which is useful for gold nanoparticle therapy. In this paper, we have shown the utility of gold nanoparticle trapping and delivery for therapy, which may be useful for cosmetic therapy and related applications. © 2012 Aziz et al. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Item, Thermodynamic equilibrium for nitrogen species discharge: Comparison with global model(2011-03-01) ;Ismail, F. D. ;Saktioto, T. ;Fadhali, M. ;Yupapin, P. P.Qindeel, R.The equilibrium process of plasma nitrogen species by chemical kinetic reactions along various pressures is successfully investigated. The equilibrium process is required in industrial application to obtain the stable condition when heating up the material for having homogenous reaction. Nitrogen species densities is modeled by a continuity equation and extended Arrhenius form. These equations are used to integrate the change of density over the time. The integration is to acquire density and the reaction rate of each reaction where temperature and time dependence are imposed. A comparison is made with global model within pressure range of 1-100 mTorr and the temperature of electron is set to be higher than other nitrogen species. The results show that the chemical kinetic model only agrees for high pressure because of no power imposed; while the global model considers the external power along the pressure range then the electron and nitrogen species give highly quantity densities by factor of 3-5. © 2010 Elsevier GmbH. Item type:Item, Proposal for Alzheimer's diagnosis using molecular buffer and bus network.(2011-01-01) ;Mitatha, S. ;Moongfangklang, N. ;Jalil, M. A. ;Suwanpayak, N.Saktioto, T.A novel design of an optical trapping tool for tangle protein (tau tangles, β-amyloid plaques) and molecular motor storage and delivery using a PANDA ring resonator is proposed. The optical vortices can be generated and controlled to form the trapping tools in the same way as the optical tweezers. In theory, the trapping force is formed by the combination between the gradient field and scattering photons, and is reviewed. By using the intense optical vortices generated within the PANDA ring resonator, the required molecular volumes can be trapped and moved dynamically within the molecular buffer and bus network. The tangle protein and molecular motor can transport and connect to the required destinations, enabling availability for Alzheimer's diagnosis. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Item, Development of single mode fiber coupling coefficient using kinetic model(2010-12-01) ;Phattaraworamet, T. ;Saktioto, T. ;Ali, J. ;Fadhali, M.Yupapin, P. P.We propose a simple kinetic model that can be used to improve the coupling coefficient value of a single mode fiber coupler in the fabrication process. The proposed model is time independent, where the internal and external parametric functions are included. The simulation is integrated over the coupling ratio range for the various fiber separations. The coupling coefficient value of the device is examined by using the coupling ratio range from 1% to 75%. The result obtained is compared with the experimental results, where it is noted that the separation of fiber cores significantly affects the coupling coefficient, exhibiting exponential behavior. We also found that the coupling coefficient gradient is significantly changed with respect to the coupling ratio. This model can be used to determine power losses of the fiber coupler at the coupled region, while the fabrication of the fiber coupler is operated. © 2009 Elsevier GmbH. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Item, Characterization of coupling power for single-mode fiber fusion(2010-10-01) ;Saktioto, T. ;Ali, J. ;Yupapin, P. P.Fadhali, M.Fabrication of single-mode fiber coupler by heating fibers on a flame is very common and popular. However, controlling the input and the output power quantities of the fiber coupling process is neither easy nor similar. Power losses occur at the coupling length as the effect of the geometry and structure of fibers during and after fusion. In application, the power losses will affect sensor devices, e.g. optical switch. This paper proposes power splitting into the second fiber junction as a new model by deriving and integrating the coupling power with two conditions of refractive index changes. First is the change in the vertical part and second is the change in the vertical and the horizontal parts. Both conditions are studied by perpendicular and parallel directions of coupling power. The model is examined with a linear change of refractive index where power absorption and reflection are accumulated by power losses. The result shows that power increases as the effect of losses by simulation. These power losses are lost by radiation out of cladding and fiber heating. © 2009 Elsevier GmbH.
