Body area network becoming a promising technology for a rapidly growth of a wireless medical applications. The ultra-wideband technology takes a vast attention by many developers due to an impulse radio transmission system. Therefore, the ultra-wideband gain big advantage to use for a wireless body area network application. This paper aims to design and fabricate a novel wideband antenna that can operate in the high-band of the ultra-wideband technology regarding to the Japan's regulation for the ultra-wideband technology, i.e., 6.5 GHz - 11.5 GHz. A rectangular slot antenna with line slit fed by a coplanar waveguide is proposed in this paper. The antenna structure is simply made on a FR-4 Epoxy substrate with a dimension of 30 mm x 35 mm x 1.6 mm (W x L x H). The results are show as a comparison between a simulation and measurement, which clearly seen a good characteristic of the proposed antenna. Hence, the proposed antenna is good to use for the body area network applications with the ultra-wideband technology.

In this research, present a control ROBOBUILDER by using human gesture and detect motion by technology Motion controller in the part of the KINECT and convert signal into the process. In this study aim to developed control the ROBOBUILDER using hardware, software and networks to work within the system. By using a robot resembling a human-based Digital Servo to operate and use an algorithm to find the angle to control Servo Motor include using Arduino added in WI-FI module to send commands to control. Robot in addition to the convenience of controlling a robot to a more natural and as an alternative to control such a robot to use in a dangerous situation to humans, such as a nuclear submarine or space can also be used or for fun for users of alleges.

This research proposes the smart way to solve the common problem of the conventional door-locking system. The important problems of the ordinary door-locking systems are key lost, forgetting to lock the system and cannot check the lock status from remote. To solve these problems, we proposed a method to lock-unlock the system which utilizes the web application and passcode alongside the usual method of using the ordinary keys. The proposed system can remotely lock, remotely unlock, remotely check door state, remotely check door locking state, send the email to the owner in case of someone knocking on the door and generate the temporary passcode to use in specific date and time.

Web services are mostly attacked in various ways directly and indirectly. We calculate the Shannon entropy from web server log files, especially access logs, and then estimate the entropy distance to detect intrusions and identified them by distinct attack word lists as general, cross-site script, and SQL injection attacks. The experiment shows that our proposed chromatography-like entropy analysis method can detect and identify these behaviors.

Database systems are often intruded because they store valuable information and can be accessed through Internet web applications which sometimes are not developed with security in mind. Attackers can inject some crafted inputs to those programs that work on database systems so that some unexpected results occur. We analyze the database system log files, focus on query statements (SQL SELECT statements), using the Shannon entropy to detect such anomaly attempts that would change conditional entropy significantly. Our experiment shows that the proposed anomaly detection using entropy analysis is effective. © 2014 Springer International Publishing Switzerland.
