Item type:Item, Analysis of temperature sensor in all-pass microring resonator(2016-03-01) ;Mohamad, Azam ;Bahadoran, Mahdi ;Daud, Suzairi ;Chaudhary, Kashif TufailAziz, M. S.The temperature sensor using all-pass microrin resonator (APMRR) investigated theoretically and analyzed. An optical bright soliton is used as a probe to study the effect of applied temperature on the light behavior pass through microring waveguide. The split-step Fourier method is used to study the pulse propagation inside the APMRR. Result shows that the rise of temperature on peak amplitude ratio fit with quadratic line in temperature range of 27 oC-37 oC. . The temperature at 30 oC generate higher slope of reduction compare to temperature at 36oC. The amplitude ratio is reduced into 0.6 (-4.4370 dB) when the temperature increased as small as 1 oC. The operating range for all-pass resonator is 97 oC with amplitude reduction of -8.3975 dB. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

P.We propose a new design of the mesh ring resonator system device using the nonlinear behaviors of optical pulse propagation in the ring resonator system, where the disadvantages of nonlinearity of light pulses propagating in the propose system becomes beneficial. The simulation results obtained have shown the chaotic output signals that can be generated by Kerr effects in the ring resonator system, where the bits logic decision signals can be controlled by using the specify system parameters, the ring radii, the coupling coefficient and the threshold outputs intensity, of the proposed simulation system. P.In this paper, a novel method of holographic data storage and display was demonstrated. The use of nonlinear optical device called PANDA ring resonator is realized by Whispering Gallery Mode (WGM) and manipulated by Phase Conjugate Mirror (PCM) techniques. P.Chaiyasoonthorn, S.We propose a new system of the THz carrier generation that can be used to support the new optical communication bandwidth, which can be useful for the large demand radio frequency identification (RFID). The design system consists of a nonlinear microring resonator system incorporating an add/drop filter and the common laser, where in this case the input source is a Gaussian pulse with center wavelengths at 1300 nm. The ring radii and coupling coefficients (κs) are 5-12 μm 0.10-0.97, respectively. The generated carriers for a new THz RFID are ranged between 0.2 THz and 0.4 THz. The multichannels RFID are obtained. P.We present a new concept of quantum cryptography using dark-bright soliton conversion behaviors within a nonlinear ring resonator, in which the orthogonal soliton is established among the soliton conversion. A new model of add/drop filters is modified which is known as a PANDA Ring resonator is proposed. The entangled soliton(photon) can work in the same way of the entangled photon, but in this case the entangle soliton is gained more power that give the advantage of long distance quantum communication. P.We propose the interesting results of light pulse propagation within a double PANDA ring resonator system. We use the technique of Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) which is implemented by the scientific programming method known as OPTI-WAVE PROGRAMMING to simulate and analyze the dynamic wave forms of propagating light pulse within the desired system. A.Mohamad, A.A system of dark soliton array (DSA) for secured optical communication using the multiplexed dark soliton pulses is presented. Different wavelength of input soliton pulses with relevant parameters are fed into the rings system while the radii of the rings are 7 μm, 5 μm and R<inf>d</inf> = 50 μm. Result shows that the free spectrum range of dark soliton input with the center wavelength of 1503 nm is 0.073 nm. DSA can be obtained using a series of micro ring resonators with input optical solitons of different wavelength, range from λ = 1513 nm to λ = 1517 nm. The DSA can be tuned and amplified used for many application in optical communication such as security purposes. In transmission link, the long distance link of the multi variable network can be performed using DSA. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
