The high capacity encoding is formed by using the spatial mode of the soliton pulse, where the selected output can be stored and the quantum code generated. Item type:Item, Novel CCTV security camera system using DWDM wavelength enhancement(2010-08-02) ;Srimuk, Polthep ;Mitatha, SomsakYupapin, Preecha P.We propose a new design of a security camera system that uses the dense wavelength division multiplexing wavelength enhancement, whereas increasing in channel capacity and security can be provided. The increasing in number of channel can be obtained by the increasing in wavelength density, while the security is introduced by the specific wavelength filter, which is operated by the central operator. The optical communication wavelength enhancement is reviewed. The advantage is that the proposed system can be implemented and used incorporating with the existed communication link in either wire/wireless system, where the human privacy can be provided, which is discussed in details. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Item, White light generation and amplification using a soliton pulse within a nano-waveguide(2009-01-01) ;Sarapat, Khuntong ;Ali, Jalil ;Yupapin, Preecha P. ;Worrarutkul, ArtitKhunnam, WanchaiWe propose a novel system of a nano-waveguide that can be used to generate the continuous optical spectrum, i.e. white light. A system consists of two micro and a nano ring resonators that can be integrated into a single system. The large bandwidth signa is generated by using a soliton pulse propagating within a Kerr type nonlinear medium, whereas the continuous bandwidth or wavelength of light signal can be performed. Results obtained have shown the potential of using such system for white light source generation and amplification, which is discussed. The amplified pulse can be stored within a nano-waveguide, which is allowed to form the continuous spectrum after amplification. Alternatively, the low level solar radiation can be amplified, and the bandwidth signals can also be enlarge. © 2009 Elsevier B.V. Item type:Item, Proposed nano-scale sensing transducer using nano-waveguide for dynamic measurement applications(2009-01-01) ;Srinuanjan, Keerayoot ;Fujii, Yusaku ;Chaiyachet, PanuwatYupapin, Preecha P.We propose a new concept of a nano-sensing transducer system using a nano-waveguide. The small change in physical quantity affects to the change in device parameters such as refractive index or length which is relatively absorbed and observed by the resonant signal. In principle, the stored light pulse at the specified wavelength is generated by using a soliton propagating within the input ring resonators, whereas a resonant signal can be stored within the nano-waveguide, i.e. a transducer, which is formed the sensing ring device. The induced change in the resonant signal is occurred, and can be detected by using the wavelength domain detector (optical spectrum analyzer). Such a proposed device is suitable to perform the measurements in the nano-scale regime such as force, stress and temperature. © 2009 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
