An easily integrable electronically variable phase shifter is proposed and experimentally demonstrated. The circuit operation is in the current mode, and it can be directly employed as a subsystem of monolithic circuit A temperature compensated biasing circuit has also been suggested. An easily integrable circuit principle is proposed and experimentally demonstrated for the syntheses of a large class of voltage-controlled non-linear resistances. The resulting non-linear resistances are floating, bipolar and require low bias currents. © Taylor and Francis Group, LLC.

A simple circuit is proposed as a linear temperature-to-differential current converter. Large and accurate conversion rate can be easily obtained. An immediate application has also been proposed. © 1979 IEEE

Transition between a flat magnitude and a sharp cut-off lowpass filter
    (1979-01-01)

A Butterworth lowpass filter provides excellent flatness around ω = 0 but the cut-off rate is low. Recently improvements to the cut-off rate have been made by introducing one ripple near the band edge. This paper offers a generalized design technique such that any degree of trade-offs between flat magnitude around ω = 0 and sharp cut-off at the band edge can be obtained while keeping the ratio of the reflected power to the transmitted power at minimum. © 1979 Taylor and Francis Group, LLC.

Filter coefficients of high-pass and band-elimination recursive digital filters with a maximally flat group delay

The design technique for a recursive digital filter with a maximally flat group delay at an arbitrary specified frequency is known. It is shown here that, for certain cases, the filter coefficients for high-pass and band-elimination recursive digital filters with a maximally flat group delay can be expressed in closed forms.

A circuit technique is proposed for detecting the peak amplitude of a sinusoidal signal using Pythagoras's law without requiring a simultaneous equal-amplitude quadrature signal. The number of four-quadrant multipliers required is only two.© 1979, The Institution of Electrical Engineers. All rights reserved.

Redundant bits always occur in handwritten character and make the classification [1] of recognition systems confusing. To eliminate these redundancies, connected numbers [2] will be employed in algorithm. Copyright © 1979 by The Institute of Electncal and Electronics Engmeers. Inc.
