Item type:Item, Adoption of industry-oriented enterprise resource planning systems: A rigorous empirical research in the mining industry leveraging PLS-SEM and artificial neural networks models(2025-12-01) ;Yudhistyra, Wecka ImamSrinuan, ChalitaEnhancing operational efficiency and enabling digital transformation in the mining industry can be effectively pursued through the implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. However, there remains a significant lack of empirical research to guide successful ERP adoption within the underexplored mining sector in developing countries, contexts often characterized by harsh operational conditions, cultural resistance to change, and limited innovation. This research aims to raise awareness and facilitate effective ERP adoption by identifying, analyzing, and critically assessing the key determinants influencing ERP system uptake in the mining industry. Data were collected from 278 employees across mining organizations in Indonesia and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), complemented by Artificial Neural Network (ANN) models to improve predictive accuracy and uncover both linear and non-linear relationships. The empirical findings reveal that employee perceptions, attitudes, and organizational factors significantly shape ERP adoption behaviors. Notably, organizational size emerged as the most influential predictor, surpassing even employee attitudes and perceptions, highlighting that institutional readiness could play a more decisive role than individual user disposition. This research contributes to academic literature by offering a data-driven framework tailored to the mining industry's operational and cultural dynamics in developing economies. Moreover, it provides actionable insights for policymakers, IT leaders, and practitioners seeking to design effective technology adoption strategies that support sustainable digital transformation through ERP integration. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Item, Factors affecting the adoption of organic agricultural standards among members of community enterprises in Roi Et Province, Thailand(2025-07-01) ;Prawat, S. ;Mankeb, P. ;Chulilung, P. ;Charoenkittayawut, S.Khermkhun, J.The level of adoption of organic agricultural standards in crop production among members of community enterprises in Roi Et Province was assessed which based on the Certification Alliance Organic Standards. The findings revealed that four components including maintenance of organic management practices, pest and disease management, conversion to organic production, and enclosed cropping systems, were adopted at a very high level. The remaining components, including land and water management, contamination prevention, biodiversity, crop selection, and breeding, showed high levels of adoption. Split and parallel production received the lowest score but remained within the high adoption range. In addition, multiple regression analysis showed that experiences in organic farming, knowledge related to organic farming, and attitude towards organic farming positively and statistically influenced the level of adoption of organic agricultural standards among members of community enterprises in Roi Et Province. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Recognizing the significance of alternate wetting and drying technology in sustainable agriculture, this study aims to promote the adoption of this technology among both Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and non-GAP farmers in Suburban, Bangkok, Thailand. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire, which gathered information on farmers' cost and return values, as well as their adoption opinions. The collected data were then analyzed using cost and return analysis, as well as stochastic frontier analysis. The results indicate that non-GAP farmers face significantly higher total costs due to increased fixed costs compared to GAP farmers. While there were no significant differences in yield between the two groups, GAP farmers achieved significantly higher total income and net profit due to lower total costs and higher selling prices. Furthermore, the analysis suggests that both groups of rice farmers have the potential to improve their efficiency levels, with non-GAP farmers showing a higher potential for improvement. In terms of adoption opinion, both farmer groups recognize the advantages of wet and dry farming technology over traditional flooded rice farming. This study highlights that the adoption levels of both GAP and non-GAP farmers can be significantly improved through the implementation of best management practices. Overall, the findings emphasize the importance of trustworthy information dissemination to encourage the adoption of wet and dry farming technology, as it enhances farmers' trust in the received information and their engagement with the technology. Item type:Item, An Acceptance Model for the Adoption of Battery Electric Vehicles in Thailand(2024-01-01) ;Sithanant, Thana ;Sukphisal, BurinKamales, NayikaThe primary objective of this study is to propose a model that will shape the adoption patterns of battery electric vehicles (BEVs) within the consumer demographic of Thailand. BEVs have emerged as a promising avenue for addressing critical environmental concerns, including air pollution, fossil fuel dependency, and climate change. Despite the successful integration of BEVs in various global markets, the penetration in Thailand remains notably limited in contrast to nations such as the United States, China, and Europe, especially Norway. The investigation begins by delineating the fundamental characteristics of BEVs, followed by a meticulous integration of theoretical underpinnings derived from the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) and the Car Technology Acceptance Model (CTAM). These theoretical frameworks serve as a robust foundation for the analysis. In tandem with this theoretical framework, a host of pivotal determinants from multiple BEV adoption reviews is scrutinized, encompassing aspects like pricing structures, regulatory policies implemented by governmental bodies, the accessibility and robustness of charging infrastructures, the dimensions of environmental consciousness, experiential considerations related to driving, household composition, and residential placement. Consequently, these multifarious determinants are synthesized and result in a novel conceptual framework, thereby engendering a nuanced and insightful comprehension of the pivotal drivers that collectively shape the landscape of BEV adoption within Thailand. Item type:Item, Assessing farmers’ adoption of ethylene stimulation in increasing Para rubber production in Ban Khai District, Rayong Province(2023-07-01) ;Orsuwan, W. ;Suwanmaneepong, S. ;Llones, C.Khuhaswanvej, S.The study found that only 50 percent of the trained rubber farmers have adopted the use of ethylene stimulation. Several factors that contributed to non-adopters’ hesitance are perceived uncertainties of technology attributes, cost of implementation, and farmers’ attitudes. From these factors, the increasing cost was the recurring reason expressed by farmers during the focus group discussion. Furthermore, a review of related studies revealed that there was an inadequate R&D investment in the rubber industry. Therefore, government supported in boosting the R&D of the country’s rubber industry would require an immediately action and implementation that competed to rubber export countries for rapidly gaining in the competition. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Item, Influence of perceived risks in farmer’s decision towards sustainable farm practices, Evidence from Northern Thailand(2021-11-01) ;Llones, C.Suwanmaneepong, S.Under the sustainable development goals, nations worldwide are enjoined to take immediate action through sustainable adaptations to mitigate climate variability and change. At the same time, agriculture is both a victim and a contributor to climate change. The situation prompted Thailand’s agriculture to explore sustainable practices for food security and deliver environmental services. Using a binary logit model, the potential effects of farmers’ perceived risks on adopting sustainable farming practices were investigated. The study revealed that farmers are somewhat hesitant to radically shift from their usual practices due to associated costs and the perceived potential risks. In addition, the study found that factors affecting adoption were site-specific. Hence, government actions should be flexible and tailored to a local level while still aligning with the national policy goals. For this, inter-agency coordination at the local, provincial and central levels is needed for agricultural support and enable farmers to make necessary changes to successfully adapt to emerging risks. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

EVs can reduce fossil fuel consumption, greenhouse gas emissions, and the negative impacts of climate change and global warming, as well as help improve air quality. However, EV adoption in Thailand is quite low. Against this backdrop, this study investigates barriers and motivators for EV adoption and their public perception in Thailand. A total of 454 responses were collected through an online questionnaire. The results indicate that the top three concerns of respondents about EVs are public infrastructure and vehicle performance in terms of charge range and battery life. Respondents with more than five years of driving experience in the age range of 26–35 years old could be key targets for early EV adoption.
