Academics, scholars, and learners are increasingly turning to AI-based language models like ChatGPT for a variety of academic and non-academic applications including essay writing, speech creation, literature summarizing, and idea production. However, the use of ChatGPT in academic research has sparked debate and raised concerns about its influence on research and publishing. By offering an actual scenario and suggestions, this study intends to shed light on the practical implementation of ChatGPT in academic research. The dataset for this study includes 3,860 students from Thailand's basic and secondary school levels. The survey data gathered focuses on investigating innovative thinking skills. The findings suggest that ChatGPT might be a useful technique for generating first ideas in academic studies. However, it is crucial for researchers to exercise caution as they may encounter certain challenges during the process. As a result, while using ChatGPT in academic research, researchers must be aware of these issues and make educated judgments appropriately. Given the possible uses and ramifications of ChatGPT, the academic community must develop detailed protocols governing its usage in research and subsequent publishing. These rules will ensure the proper and ethical use of ChatGPT in the academic setting.

Advancements in additive manufacturing have enabled the creation of intricate ceramic structures with complex geometries. Among these, extrusion free-forming has emerged as a versatile and cost-effective method for fabricating ceramics used in both artistic and engineering applications. This study explores the integration of ChatGPT in Socratic-style dialogue to guide and troubleshoot the 3D printing process of barium hexaferrite via extrusion free-forming. Ceramic pastes were prepared by dispersing mixed precursor powders in aqueous solutions containing poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) as a binder, poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG-400) as a plasticizer, and EFKA®FA4620 as a dispersant. The paste was then extruded using a customized 3D printer equipped with a syringe-based delivery system. ChatGPT was employed to support various stages of the workflow, including prompt-based troubleshooting of nozzle clogging, addressing cracking in printed bodies, and optimizing paste formulation. One notable intervention guided by ChatGPT involved reducing the PEG-400 content from 317 mg to 300 mg, which significantly improved paste consistency, printability, and the overall quality of the printed barium hexaferrite structures. This study highlights the practical value of ChatGPT in assisting real-time problem-solving in ceramic additive manufacturing. The findings underscore the potential for integrating large language models into experimental design and materials processing, promoting collaborative learning and iterative optimization among engineers, scientists, and artists.

The potential of using large language model artificial intelligence systems to generate program codes for application development is significant. Database codes in SQL (Structured Query Language), which is the standard relational database language, can be generated by such systems. Generative AI systems know database languages syntax through their training data and the text patterns from various sources that include SQL queries and related text. Thus, the generated codes may not be perfect and need verification before usage. This paper verifies the relational completeness of the SQL codes generated by ChatGPT, one of the most widely used large language model systems. Relational algebra operators are used for the relational complete verification. An equivalent relational calculus statement is generated for each SQL and relational algebra statement. The results confirmed that ChatGPT has the ability to generate relational complete SQL, relational algebra, and relational calculus codes.
