    Enhancing Property Management Efficiency via an Automated Notification System for Expenses and Deliveries

    This paper presents the design, development, and evaluation of an Automated Expense and Parcel Notification System (AEPNS) for residential property management. The system integrates a web-based application, a PHP-based backend, a MySQL database, and third-party notification services (LINE Notify and SendGrid) to automate billing and delivery alerts. The evaluation combined functional, integration, and user acceptance testing with affective assessment using the International Positive and Negative Affect Schedule Short Form (I-PANAS-SF). Results from real-world deployment demonstrated reductions in administrative workload and communication latency, alongside high levels of user satisfaction and positive engagement. In addition to reporting operational gains, this work contributes (1) a lightweight and deployable architecture tailored for small to medium-sized residential communities, (2) dual evaluation metrics that combine operational key performance indicators with affective user responses, and (3) practical insights into system scalability, maintainability, and compliance with security and privacy requirements. Identified limitations, such as procedural code constraints and third-party service quotas, inform a clear roadmap for future development that includes migration to a modular framework (Laravel), multilingual notification support, and a resident-facing mobile application. These findings indicate that even low-cost, API-driven solutions can act as scalable enablers of digital transformation in emerging digital economies.

    The Impacts of Internal and External Factors on Developing Global Digital Innovation: A Case Study of the Provincial Electricity Authority in Thailand

    The study aimed to investigate the impacts of internal and external factors on developing global digital innovation by means of a case study of the Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) in Thailand. The research framework was based on the concepts of disruptive leadership, Thailand 4.0, Industry 4.0, PEA Digital Utility or Electric Utility of the Future, ICT/Digital Innovation, and Sufficiency Economy Principles (SEP). The research sample group comprised 419 PEA employees randomly selected from throughout the country. The research tools consisted of structured questionnaires on content and technical quality validated by five qualified experts. Assumptions of multiple regression analysis- normality, linearity, no multicollinearity, independence, and homoscedasticity were examined. The data verifying the assumptions were analyzed by multiple regression and PEA Digital Utility, Industry 4.0, ICT/Digital Innovation, Disruptive Leadership, and Thailand 4.0 were estimated for the development of global digital innovation. It was also found that most PEA employees, or 51.55 percent, refer to the innovation they know of as PEA Smart Plus. This is because PEA will focus on the use of communication technology to improve efficiency in the distribution system which is the foundation for further development of other parts of the system. Furthermore, most PEA employees identified innovation as being environmentally friendly.

    The Chief Financial Officer's Characteristics and the Impacts on Driving Organization's Future: The Upper Echelons Theory

    The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between the characteristics of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and their roles in driving an organization's future. This study is based on the Upper Echelons Theory, which states that the characteristics of management influence organizational outcomes. A survey was conducted with 81 CFOs from publicly traded companies, private domestic firms, and foreign multinational corporations from various industries in Thailand. The study investigated how CFO characteristics such as years of experience and educational background influenced defined CFO roles. Our study found no significant impact of CFO educational background on their roles. Years of experience in the CFO position had a significant impact on roles such as managing risk, delivering business performance, assessing investment efficiency, leading digital transformation, and maintaining integrity and ethics roles. This study advances the ability to predict organizational outcomes beyond existing theories. By taking into account their CFO characteristics, our findings can be used to forecast targeted companies or competitors on a move with a projection. The findings of our research are relevant and broadly applicable to an international audience, owing to the mixed nationality of CFO respondents and the variety of company origins.

    An Exploratory on Factor Influencing of Digital Transformation and Institutionalization in Thai Maritime Industry

    A literature gap exists regarding why Thai maritime industry remain slow to accept new digital transformation to improve the maritime sector's capacity to drive organizational sustainable development. It is essential to understand the determinants factor of digital transformation adoption and continuous to institutionalization change. This study investigates firm level adoption of digital technology and focuses specifically on perceived influence of technology, organization, environment, technology acceptance behavior and commitment factors on the adoption process of digital transformation in Thai maritime industry. Based on an exploration and integration of four adoption related frameworks from technology acceptance use and change management field, a conceptual model linking the intention to use level change to commitment process was created. The model integrates concepts from Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), The Technology, Organization and Environment Framework (TOE framework), Institutional Theory and the model for Institutionalization Change.
