At the Faculty of Engineering, King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, a public transportation system has been developed to facilitate transit around the campus using shuttle cars. Shuttle stations are placed along the routes, and cars run every 10-15 minutes. However, the problem of users not knowing the precise location and arrival time of each shuttle arose. To solve this, a transit tracking system was developed using IoT technology. IoT devices were installed on each vehicle to monitor their real-time locations. The data is collected via GPS and transmitted over the 4G network to a server, then stored in a database and displayed on a website in real-time using React. To reduce costs, a custom map was developed using the Leaflet library as an alternative to the Google Maps API. Testing within the Faculty of Engineering showed that the designed IoT system could transmit data successfully, with a performance of a custom map close to that of the Google Maps API, while also significantly reducing costs. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Item type:Item, STRAWBERRY SEEDLING CULTIVATION WITH SMART FARM(2025-01-01) ;Kruekaew, Boonhatai ;Palananda, AttaponKimpan, WarangkhanaIn Thailand, the main planting areas are in the upper northern region. It is difficult for strawberry to be cultivated in the central region of Thailand due to inappropriate weather conditions. Because the strawberry seedlings are delicate and sensitive to alterations in temperature and weather, they require extra care than mature plants while cultivation before planting. Therefore, modifications to strawberry seedling cultivation may result in more strawberry plantings. Consequently, one of the most beneficial choices is a smart farming. This research focuses on the cultivation of strawberry seedlings in tropical areas of Thailand using an intelligence model and Internet of Things. The prototype system focuses on automatic watering and lighting, and an environmental adaptation system that combines sensors to control water, air, and lighting. The physical characteristics data from all devices in prototype system are collected, and then analyzed using machine learning methods to automatically control the environment within the prototype system to be suitable for growing strawberry seedlings. Moreover, the real-time data will be displayed on a dashboard with various notification systems. The experimental results indicated that using machine learning models can control the suitable temperature and humidity for strawberry seedlings cultivation. The appropriate temperature and soil moisture are between 31-32 degrees Celsius and 70 percent, respectively. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

This leads to a shortage of hand sign angklung music experts in the city. This musical group activity is not widely utilized. The 'Angklung Smart Band' is an IoT-based solution designed to assist angklung music experts or nursing home caregivers in Thailand in supporting angklung music group activities for the elderly. The system consists of a web application, Internet of Things devices, and angklung musical instruments linked through a wireless network. In this study, we evaluated the use of the angklung smart band to facilitate music group activities for the elderly in nursing homes. We compared the outcomes to the conventional hand sign method for promoting music group activities. We assessed the use of a smart band system with two groups of the elderly: a home group and a bedridden group. The results revealed that this approach is more appropriate for the home group than the bedridden group, since they can independently participate in music group activities. Consequently, the expert can focus on interaction with other elderly in order to ensure that all the elderly are always engaged in activities. A statistical analysis of the playing accuracy percentage showed that the smart band system can execute angklung music group activities as well as the hand sign method. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
