Item type:Item, Robust image encryption method with cipher stream chaining process(2019-02-01) ;Tep, SovanAnantavrasilp, IsaraA new image encryption algorithm that uses one dimensional logistic map combined with perceptron model is proposed. The algorithm uses logistic map to produce pseudo random sequences, which are used sequences of keys to specify the weights of the perceptron. The, perceptron is used to encrypt the pixels of the image. The approach is also equipped with the novel Cipher Stream Chaining Process (CSCP), making it highly sensitive to given image. Our work is evaluated against histogram analysis, information entropy, key sensitivity analysis. Experiment results show that, the cipher image does not give out any information on the plain image and the algorithm is highly sensitive to plain image and key. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Item, A survey on internet of things architecture, protocols, possible applications, security, privacy, real-world implementation and future trends(2016-02-04) ;Kraijak, SuraponTuwanut, PanwitThe Internet is dramatically evolving and creating various connectivity methodologies. The Internet of Things (IoT) is one of those methodologies which transforms current Internet communication to Machine-to-Machine (M2M) basis. Hence, IoT can seamlessly connect the real world and cyberspace via physical objects that embed with various types of intelligent sensors. A large number of Internet-connected machines will generate and exchange an enormous amount of data that make daily life more convenient, help making a tough decision and provide beneficial services. This paper not only describes about the evolution and how important of IoT in daily life, the generic architecture, its most widely used protocols, numerous possible applications but also concern over security and privacy issues in IoT, real-world implementation of IoT system by using Arduino and its future trends. The IoT probably becomes one of the most popular networking concepts that has the potential to bring out many benefits. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Item, Anti-copy of 2D Barcode Using Multi-encryption Technique(2014-01-01) ;Phumpho, Suwilai ;Payakkawan, Poomyos ;Jansri, Anurak ;Tongaram, DirekPromprayoon, Chirasak2D barcode can be found largely at product of department store. The general purpose of 2D barcode is to identify product. Process of 2D barcode is run in the assembly production line. Nowadays, the simple 2D barcode can be easily copied. Then, this paper proposes new technique to generate 2D barcode. The technique is multi encryption by chaotic equation that is very difficult to reproduce. In experimental design, 2D barcode can be used only one-time and can be recorded into decoding system to protect repeating. This paper has led to real benefit for Fresh Group company limited in Thailand. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Item, The use of security cameras with privacy protecting ability(2011-05-02) ;Prashyanusorn, Vacharee ;Prashyanusorn, Paiboon ;Kaviya, Somkuan ;Fujii, YusakuYupapin, Preecha P.A novel method of security camera operation is proposed. In the method, security cameras, which encrypt the taken images and store them into the memory card inside, are used. Only when crimes occur, the memory cards are taken out from the cameras and the images are decrypted with the key and viewed by the city government and/or the police. When no crimes occur, images are overwritten by the new ones after a week automatically without being viewed by anyone. By using the stand-alone cameras without wiring to the control center, the installation cost and the operation cost are much lower than CCTV cameras. By using image encryption, the privacy of the tourists is protected. Using this system, high density installation of the security cameras with very low cost can be realized in encryption with image encryption privacy protection function. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Item, A simple password less authentication system for web sites(2010-08-11) ;Sælensminde, KiritBoonjing, VeeraMany web sites have features that are only accessible after registering a user account on them. These sites include forums, on-line games, corporate Intranets and many on-line shops. The sites are typically secured through a system whereby a user chooses both a unique user name and a password that will be used to authenticate them. An alternative system proposed here is more convenient for users, and in many cases more secure by removing the requirement for the user to choose or remember a password. © 2010 IEEE. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Item, Creating worldwide community safety with present technology and privacy protection: The e-JIKEI Network project(2010-08-02) ;Kobayashi, Kohjiro ;Maru, Koichi ;Ohta, Naoya ;Yoshiura, NoriakiUeda, HiroshiIn this paper, the e-JIKEI Network project, a project for creating community safety with present day technology, is reviewed. With the e-JIKEI Network, each individual watches around his/her house using cameras as his/her eyes, a computer as his/her brain, and software. For privacy protection, we propose the e-JIKEI with Privacy Protection, in which people who own and manage images (the owner) and people who have the right to view the images (the viewer) are separated by the encryption of the images. In order to evaluate our concept, social experiments have been performed. The present status and future prospects have been discussed in detail. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Item, Live sport monitoring using remote camera system(2010-08-02) ;Sirichai, Apatcha ;Kaviya, SomkuanYupapin, Preecha P.We present the use of camera for sport judge, where the best sport broadcasting soccer which is popular worldwide to be more interesting with the right result. The audience which is known as sport fan club or spectators expects the right competition results, which may be concerned the gamblers. We use a remote camera system for the game clarification, i.e. fair play because the criticism of judges and the referees may be inappropriate behaviors. We use the system based on closed circuit television (CCTV) cameras to support judges and the lineman decision. Moreover, the monitoring of audience and game can be provided by using the registered and telescope cameras, respectively, which mean that the game result with fairly play can be seen over the audiences. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Item, Digital Signature on mobile devices based on location(2006-12-01) ;Jarusombat, SantiKittitornkun, SurinWith rapid growing of wireless and mobile technologies, mobile devices are part and parcel of our lives. Nowadays GPS (Global Positioning Service) technology is combined with mobile devices. People use some Internet applications, e.g. mobile fund transfer, e-commerce, game online and theatre booking. These applications should support Digital Signature Service for more security. Because mobile device is low-computation capability and limited battery life, it is not suitable to use digital signature protocols, which are based on asymmetric cryptographic algorithm, with mobile devices. And it does not use advantage of GPS technology. We present "Location Based Digital Signature on Mobile Devices" with Geo-Encryption to generate Digital Signature. This method reduces the burden on mobile devices, the computation time of the requester by almost 98%, compared with Abe-. Fujisaki's RSA-based partially blind signature and decreases communication between sender and receiver. © 2006 IEEE.
