Item type:Item, The acceptance model for camera simulators as a learning media for Indonesian vocational student(2024-10-01) ;Suwastika, Novian Anggis ;Masrom, Maslin ;Qonita, Qori ;Yasirandi, RahmatNuha, Hilal HudanThis study investigates the acceptance of camera simulator technology as a learning media by Indonesian vocational high school (VHS) students and examines the relationships among influencing factors. It proposes an acceptance model integrating the technology acceptance model (TAM) 3 and the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT). Ten factors impacting technology acceptance were identified, resulting in the formulation of 15 hypotheses regarding inter-construct relationships. In this empirical study, a quantitative approach was employed, distributing questionnaires to 200 students at Public Vocational High School 10 in Bandung, specializing in broadcasting and filmmaking programs. After analyzing 145 valid responses, the study progressed in two stages: the measurement model and the structural model. The evaluation of the measurement model confirmed the validity of all indicators and constructs, ensuring compliance with the established standards. In the structural model evaluation, one construct (computer anxiety) and four inter-construct relationships were excluded. This research enhances our understanding of factors influencing camera simulator technology acceptance among VHS students in Indonesia, shedding light on the complexities of their decision-making process in adopting this educational tool. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Item type:Item, An Acceptance Model for the Adoption of Battery Electric Vehicles in Thailand(2024-01-01) ;Sithanant, Thana ;Sukphisal, BurinKamales, NayikaThe primary objective of this study is to propose a model that will shape the adoption patterns of battery electric vehicles (BEVs) within the consumer demographic of Thailand. BEVs have emerged as a promising avenue for addressing critical environmental concerns, including air pollution, fossil fuel dependency, and climate change. Despite the successful integration of BEVs in various global markets, the penetration in Thailand remains notably limited in contrast to nations such as the United States, China, and Europe, especially Norway. The investigation begins by delineating the fundamental characteristics of BEVs, followed by a meticulous integration of theoretical underpinnings derived from the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) and the Car Technology Acceptance Model (CTAM). These theoretical frameworks serve as a robust foundation for the analysis. In tandem with this theoretical framework, a host of pivotal determinants from multiple BEV adoption reviews is scrutinized, encompassing aspects like pricing structures, regulatory policies implemented by governmental bodies, the accessibility and robustness of charging infrastructures, the dimensions of environmental consciousness, experiential considerations related to driving, household composition, and residential placement. Consequently, these multifarious determinants are synthesized and result in a novel conceptual framework, thereby engendering a nuanced and insightful comprehension of the pivotal drivers that collectively shape the landscape of BEV adoption within Thailand. Further empirical investigations will be undertaken to a more profound awareness of the intricate dynamics that propel the broader integration of BEVs nationwide. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Item type:Item, Evaluating the Determinants of Consumer Adoption of Autonomous Vehicles in Thailand—An Extended UTAUT Model(2023-01-01) ;Chaveesuk, Singha ;Chaiyasoonthorn, Wornchanok ;Kamales, Nayika ;Dacko-Pikiewicz, ZdzislawaLiszewski, WiesławThis study explores the effects of autonomous cars and how they may affect the design of transportation systems. The research investigated the determinants of consumer adoption of autonomous vehicles in Thailand. The research was driven by increasing environmental protection awareness and the need to conserve it through revolutionary technology. The study adopted the extended UTAUT model, where a quantitative method was adopted using primary data from 381 respondents. The results indicated that consumer adoption of autonomous vehicles in Thailand is influenced by performance expectancy, effort expectancy, facilitating conditions, environmental benefits, and purchase subsidy. The recommendations developed were that, to enhance the consumers’ intention to adopt autonomous vehicles, the concerned stakeholders should improve on aspects, such as the ability to improve job performance, increase productivity, ease of use, flexibility, clarity, and understanding, as well as improve social status. The government should also consider subsidizing autonomous vehicles as this would encourage consumption. A limitation of the study is the generalization of the findings as it is limited to Thailand. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Item, The Adoption of the 'Buruan Sae' Agricultural Extension Application in Bandung City Using the UTAUT(2023-01-01) ;Tsabitul Azmi, Hilmi ;Utomo, Rio Guntur ;Nuha, Hilal H.Yasirandi, RahmatThe 'Buruan Sae' program in Bandung is an integrated urban farming initiative by the Department of Food and Agriculture. This research investigates the factors influencing the adoption of the agricultural extension application 'Buruan Sae' in Bandung City, utilizing the UTAUT model. The study collected data from 14 agricultural extension agents working under the Department of Food Security and Agriculture. The analysis identified trust and performance expectancy as the key determinants of adoption, complemented by attitude and dependence. The study investigated the impact of different factors on users' intention to use the 'Buruan Sae' app. The study investigated the impact of UTAUT variables on Behavioral Intention towards the 'Buruan Sae' app. Four out of five variables (Effort Expectancy, Social Influence, Facilitating Conditions, and Perceived Technology) positively influenced Behavioral Intention, while Performance Expectancy had a weaker impact. The Performance Expectancy's regression coefficient was 0.410 with a significance level of 0.000 $( < 0.05)$, leading to the acceptance of Hypothesis 1. The same holds true for Effort Expectancy and Social Influence with t-values of 6.013 and 3.668, respectively, both significant at sig $< 0.05$, confirming Hypotheses 2 and 3. Facilitating Conditions' influence on Perceived Technology was established with a t-value of 5.425 and sig $< 0.05$, accepting Hypothesis 4. The F-test further supported the impact of Performance Expectancy, Effort Expectancy, Social Influence, and Facilitating Conditions on Perceived Technology, as Hypothesis 5 was accepted due to a sig of 0.002 and a calculated F-value of 10.296 $( > 3.59)$. The study concludes that due to limitations in the data, further research is recommended for a more thorough exploration of how 'Buruan Sae' app is used by extension workers in the Food and Agriculture Resilience Agency. This could involve methods like direct observations, interviews, or case studies to gain insights into farmers' use of the app, along with the associated challenges and benefits. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
